I stayed 2 at the end of the year. It was my first stay, but I wanted to relax and stay again. The hotel is over 9 floor, but the glass is often used and the view is bright everywhere. Creation that I have never seen before. A mechanism that cannot be put in the room key in the lodging zone. The building is a corridor style, overlooking the garden and chapel on the 9 floor, but it is lit up at night and this is beautiful again. The rooms are a bit vertical, but I was able to spend calmly. I liked my wife very much. The public bath is also like a fashionable and splendid hot spring hotel. Maybe more. There was a drum coin laundry next to the entrance of the public bath, and it was convenient for consecutive nights. Breakfast was a buffet, but the buffet on New Year's Day is a great word. When I arrived at the entrance with the service of the soup and arrived at the seat, the miscellaneous boiling was carried first. The soup was very delicious. In addition to the usual buffet, there were special dishes for New Year's Day, but there were many fresh sashimi, kazukono, shrimp, etc. There was red rice in rice. All were delicious and ate a lot. I went by car, but I went directly from the underground parking lot to the front floor and the parking fee was very good. Moreover, I think it is the best value for money in a hotel in Kumamoto City with a 24-hour parking setting. My wife started saving money because she wanted to go to the end of this year.

It is 2 ~ 3 minutes walk from JR Kumamoto Station, so transportation is good. More than a month ago, I called the hotel directly and booked a comfort single. However, the hotel homepage only stated that it was the East Building. When I went there, it was a 2F room that walked through the outer corridor without partitions. If it was raining, it would get completely wet. On the day, the wind was blowing and the cold was so bad. Was the East Building a former condominium or employee dormitory? The East Building should be stated on the hotel homepage, etc. that it is an outer corridor without a partition (rain and wind blows). In addition, the room is divided into two rooms from the middle of one room, which was an apartment or employee dormitory. You take off your shoes at the entrance and enter the room. The window of the room, the part where the TV is placed is not lighted, and it feels very dark. Isn't this part also necessary for lighting? The breakfast venue and the large communal bath are both located in 1F. The large communal bath is available at 15:00 ~. There is only a washroom at 6. In the morning, you can take a bath from 05:00AM. The breakfast venue is available at 06:30 ~ and a local dish from the Kyushu area is served every morning. (11/10 was Somen Champur in Okinawa) Also, the dessert was 11/10 was yogurt, but 11/11 was coffee jelly. I found out that various ideas were devised.

10 minutes walk to Sakura Machi Kumamoto and 20 minutes walk to Kumamoto Castle. 5 minutes to 7-Eleven. It is a convenient location for those who are not bitter to walk. The first parking lot is flat next door, and the second and third are small but nearby. The car keys will be left at the front desk. The room key is only one that hangs on an old-fashioned stick. It was inconvenient to leave it every time I went out. The twin room was not so large, but the windows open are appreciated by smokers. There was no air purifier and there was no guide to renting. There is a refrigerator, but there is no safety box. The closet has no door, so I hung it on the bathroom so that it wouldn't smell. The bath / toilet room is small, but there is an artificial hot spring bath on the 3rd floor (16: 00-25: 00, 6:00-9:00). The dressing room was reasonably large and was a locker with a key. There are 5 washrooms, and the bathtub is horizontal and not so large. There is no sauna. Nightwear is a cover type, only rooms and large communal baths are available, and not available in restaurants. There was a vending machine on the 3rd floor, and there were beer, shochu, cup noodles and knobs. There is also a microwave oven and ice machine in this space. The coin laundry is a separate room for men and women, the washing machine costs 300 yen up to 7Kg and the dryer costs 100 yen for 30 minutes. Breakfast is a buffet at the restaurant on the 9th floor of the top floor (6:30-10:00). You can enjoy local dishes such as spicy lotus root and horse meat curry. There are also a variety of normal dishes. It costs 1,100 yen when paying separately, but considering the content, I felt that it was exceptionally cheap at this time. For dinner, I booked an izakaya ”Shokusai Shuan”, which can be reached in 5 minutes on foot. Spicy lotus root, horse sashimi, Kumamoto sake, Kumamoto shochu, etc. were all delicious. There are only 4 tables and it seems to be popular with local customers, so it is better to make a reservation.

Toyoko Inn Kumamoto Sakuramachi Bus Terminal Mae

Stayed on May 6. I was lost with the location pattern, the new town, but I chose this because it was a little off the downtown area, close to the airport bus stop. As a request, I asked for a room with a good view outside the window to leave Asian group guests by phone. As a result, there was no group guest who was worried, and it was good to be assigned a room (1202) without the southeast side disorder. But many people point out that there are 1 elevators and the breakfast venue is very small I think it's miserable on a crowded day. Breakfast is small, although it is a service, and bread is only bread. The room is not very different from other Toyoko Inn. I think the location is good for transportation, food and drink and sightseeing.
Toyoko Inn Kumamoto Ekimae

Stayed 4-nights whilst using Kumamoto as a base for day trips by train to Amakusi-Misumi, Aso-Miyaji, Nagasaki and Beppu. The Toyoko Inn is therefore ideal being within 200m of the entrance to Kumamoto Station and for getting about Kumamoto, the main stop for the Kumamoto Shiden (Tram) is right outside the hotel. As I had an early start each day I didn't get to try the free breakfast included in the room rate and arriving back late each evening, the food court on the 7th floor of the Amu Plaza adjacent to the Station proved really convenient (open until 10 ~ 11pm). Budget-priced hotels in Japan tend to provide small but well-eqipped rooms and Toyoko Inn is no exception. I opted for the cheaper room rate whereby your room isn't serviced daily, only fresh towels provided; even better value-for-money.

It's extremely convenient spot. There are bus station and shopping malls around the hotel. Everything is perfect, but the room is quite small. Only suitable for a person for living, two people are too crowded for the room.
HOTEL MYSTAYS Kumamoto Riverside

I evaluate it with my own eyes (5 points full). Business hotels are the center. [Location] 3 Walk a little to downtown. There are many one-way traffic around the hotel, but once you know it, you will manage it. [Room] 3 No problem especially. [Outlet LAN] 3 No problem especially. [Air conditioner] 3 No problem especially. [Shower] 3 No problem especially. [Staff] 3 No problem especially. [Overall] I was a little worried about the name and price, but it is a good hotel. I can get one juice and I was happy to get Kumamon goods. If you walk a little to downtown and the neighborhood is dark and late at night, women and children may be a little worried. I think it's good to enjoy it because there are many fashionable shops around.
