Backwater Ripples Kumarakom

The resort is beautiful, located on lake side, has clean amenities, great service and a good restaurant. The only thing that could be improved is the size of the swimming pool as probably it's the smallest as compared to the other resorts in the area. Overall I recommend it if you can get it for a nice price.

I genuinely couldn’t have chosen a better place than Backwater Ripples, Kumarakom to celebrate my sister’s birthday. From the moment I shared my vision for the birthday decor, the team went above and beyond to bring it to life exactly as I had imagined. Everyone was so enthusiastic, supportive, and invested in making sure the celebration was truly special, and that meant so much to us. Beyond the celebration, the stay itself was wonderful. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, the food was delicious, and every member of the staff was warm, courteous, and always ready to help with a smile. The location overlooking the Vembanad Lake is absolutely surreal. Both the houseboat ride and speed boat ride on it were memorable! Waking up to such peaceful views and spending time amidst such calm surroundings made the entire experience incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating. Thank you to the entire team for making my sister’s birthday so memorable. We are leaving with beautiful memories and hearts full of gratitude. I would happily recommend Backwater Ripples to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway or a special place to celebrate life’sspecial occasions.

Location is good cause of lake infront of the property. Atmosphere is pleasant. Family room is spacious compared to other rooms. Property is clean. Less noisy. Service and staff is good. Approx 26000/- per night stay is a bit costly other than lake view. There is boat ride in the evening. Breakfast is ok.

Had a wonderful stay at this resort. The complimentary boat ride was a great experience, and the room was well-equipped with TV and coffee facilities. There were plenty of fun activities to enjoy throughout the stay. The service was excellent, especially from the front office team. A special thanks to abin richard for being friendly, professional, and helpful. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway!

Our stay at Backwater Ripples was truly one of the most memorable resort experiences we’ve had in a very long time. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by breathtaking scenic views, peaceful backwaters, and an atmosphere of complete relaxation. The room offered stunning views that my wife and kids absolutely fell in love with, making every morning and evening feel magical. The beauty and serenity of this place are something that will stay with us for a long time. The food was excellent throughout our stay, fresh, delicious, and full of flavour with a great variety to choose from. What made the experience even more special was the hospitality. A special thanks to Sindhu Nair, the Guest Experience Manager, who was always just a call away and ensured we were comfortable throughout our stay. Pranav from the bar was extremely professional and polite, and Jayesh, who took us on the backwater boat ride, was patient, knowledgeable, and even went out of his way to get us fresh tender coconut water while explaining everything in detail. Every staff member, from reception to housekeeping, greeted us with a smile and were always warm, professional, and courteous. Finally a heartfelt thanks to Tanya, the owner, who was exceptionally pleasant, caring, and personally ensured we had a wonderful experience. Her warmth and attention to detail truly reflect in the way this beautiful property is run. Highly recommend Backwater Ripples for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway!

We recently went for a day outing from Infopark to Backwater Ripples, Kumarakom, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The resort offers a peaceful and scenic atmosphere surrounded by beautiful backwaters, making it a perfect escape from the busy work routine. One of the highlights of the trip was the food. The buffet had a great variety of dishes, and everything we tried was fresh and delicious. The Kerala-style dishes were especially flavorful and well prepared. The snacks and refreshments served during the day were also excellent and added to the overall experience. The staff were friendly, attentive, and ensured that our group was comfortable throughout the visit. The property is clean, well maintained, and ideal for team outings, family trips, or a relaxing day with friends. Overall, Backwater Ripples provided us with great hospitality, tasty food, and a refreshing day in a beautiful setting. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Kumarakom!
