Had an amazing stay at Asantewaa Premier Hotel. The customer service was excellent, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the food and drinks were really good. The staff were welcoming and professional throughout my stay. Definitely one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in Kumasi. Highly recommend

Our travel group of 35 people stayed 3 nights at the Asantewaa Premier Hotel in Kumasi during our cultural expedition of Ghana in June 2026. Despite the size of our group, the staff never missed a beat. Their “all hands on deck” teamwork made our stay consistently comfortable. From the welcoming front desk to the thoughtful concierges, the efficient bellman, the dependable security team, and the wonderfully friendly restaurant staff, it was clear we were in good hands. This was Ghanaian hospitality at its finest, the kind that makes you feel instantly at home. We were fortunate to have one of the apartments. It was clean and spacious. We had no issues with the hot water, the TV and connecting to the internet. While there were many outstanding staffers, we must give a ‘shout out’ to Bright. He was one of several staffers that helped our group with luggage. I also saw him at the front desk and restaurant during our stay. He is reflective of the type of customer service we experienced. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Kumasi, the Asantewaa Premier Hotel is a property that we highly recommend!

Stayed a couple of days in the hotel. The staff is very polite en helpfull. There is a restaurant at the hotel with great service and food. I had a clean room and the airconditioning works wonders after a day in the heat of Kumasi! Slept really well at the hotel so I had lots of energy to start the day.

Good location in quiet area. Airport shuttle available with v pleasant driver Hotel needs to invest in upgrading of bathrooms esp. and the beds/mattresses!! The sheets/pillowcases were stained, frayed or had holes. No blankets available. WiFi access is poor. Totally unreliable in rooms, spotty on the patio and better in driveway and outdoor restaurant. Restaurant food and options were ok. My CC was overcharged by $85. The F Desk Mgr said it was due to exchange rate fluctuation from time of booking. Aah NO. I don’t think so. After 36 hrs of trying to address issue, my NY bank resolved it by pausing payment to challenge the charge. Hotel provided a refund to bank the following week. NB: Lovely, friendly warm front desk staff.

Asantewaa Hotel is a charming place on a quiet street and it completely stole my heart.The atmosphere is something I can’t describe, the sight of cleanliness, quality of service and above all the unique touch of beautiful art and craft of Ghanaian culture on display is so so beautiful. I just love Asantewaa hotel with their comfortable rooms, attentive service and delicious breakfast. Truly, I enjoyed my stay at ASANTEWAA HOTEL.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff went to great measures to make sure we were comfortable. My friend is vegan, and they went to great lengths to make sure she was accommodated, thanks to Mr. Salifu. Even when mistakes were made, they went over and beyond to correct the mistakes. As a business owner myself, I make mistakes, so I expect other businesses to make mistakes, but the way they HANDLE correcting mistakes is most important to me. Asantewaa Premier Hotel cares and I appreciated that. We will definitely be back, and refer others.

Wow! Asantewaa Premier Hotel truly blew me away. From the super friendly staff to the clean, comfy rooms and relaxing vibe — everything was perfect! I felt so welcome and well taken care of. I honestly loved every second of my stay. Can’t wait to come back!
