Good: t is within walking distance about 5min to 2 roadside eateries. One of them the Yellow Box container served very good Chinese style food at a cheap price. So surprised to find good Chinese food For improvement: the place run down. Spotted two cockroaches scurrying from the bed. The water heater not hot enough and the mattress wearing thin, can feel the steel beneath it

A comfortable stay with clean rooms, helpful staff, and great amenities. The location made it easy to explore nearby attractions, and the service felt consistently warm and attentive. Breakfast was satisfying, and check-in was smooth. Overall, a pleasant experience and good value for the price.

The hotel is located next to main road and there are restaurants nearby. Staff had arranged a shared taxi for us.

Firstly, the telephone number to the outlet is + 6 012 869 6969 as shown on a signage at the entrance to the outlet; the number advertised on this platform is not helpful when I called two days ago to ask about my booking. Secondly, the road from the entrance down to the parking bays is steep requiring experience and skillful drivers especially when their vehicles are loaded with passengers or baggage. Thirdly, the wash basin faucet in the bathroom of my room is loose, the shower head hose is inflexible, and the water pressure is below average.

Advantages: Close to Mount Kinabalu Park. Disadvantages: No air conditioning, exhaust fan, or hair dryer in the room. No place to hang clothes. The springs of the mattress hurt. I had backaches when I slept. There are no seats in the room, so I can only lie on the bed. The pillow is too high, but luckily I brought an inflatable pillow. There are no screens, so I dare not open the door or window for fear of insects, spiders, or cats coming in. There is no restaurant. I can only eat instant noodles in the room on rainy days. The Chinese restaurant nearby is closed at night. The Chinese restaurant is quite delicious. The owner is Chinese. Communication is barrier-free. The altitude here is 1,600. You have to climb a long slope to get in and out. The car can drive in. So it is very noisy to live here. The car is parked next to the balcony. The sound insulation is also poor. Walking and talking are very noisy. It is 100 more expensive than Anaya. The price-performance ratio is not high.

We deliberately avoided congested kundasang this trip. here offered a quieter alternative. There’s a relaxed pace here — no loud activities, no constant traffic. The room served its purpose comfortably, and the cool air enhanced the stay. If your goal is peace rather than entertainment, this place aligns well with that intention.
