Convenient location if you're using the station.
Quiet, comfy room.
Nice touch that you receive a bag of snacks on arrival and, if you're leaving early in the morning as I was, a little bag of fruit and pastries.
I don't speak Chinese, and the staff don't speak English, so it's hard work doing everything via translate apps.
It says it has a restaurant, but it actually only provides breakfast. There are lots of little restaurants and convenience stores beside the hotel.

It was a wonderful stay. I enjoyed the aesthetic and beauty of the place. I liked that they think about all details. Hot springs and swimming pool are nice. I also enjoyed the restaurant with its great choice of dishes. Strongly suggesting the place. The staff is very friendly and polite. When I was leaving I even got a small souvenir from the front desk manager. I stayed in a lot of hotels around China. I would say this was one of the best choices. Besides the location is also very convenient.

Just came here for a business trip, the hotel is very cost-effective, very unexpected, the high-rise building has a wide view, the supporting facilities are very complete, the mainstream whole house is intelligently controlled, the mattress is very comfortable, the boss should be a very delicate person, artistic sense + life travel combined, various local traffic instructions. The location is very convenient. There is a lot of food, drink and entertainment in the Gemdale Center downstairs. Highly recommended. It's not far from the subway station. You can get there just by riding an electric car on the roadside. The room is big and very clean.

booked this hotel last minute as the previous hotel was not up to standard. 欣怡 was amazing. what a thoughtful staff. novotel ought to promote her. she kindly showed us the way to the convenient store and introduced a lot of nice places for us to visit and to have our meals. you can tell that she’s not the pretentious type but someone that puts her heart and soul into what she does/enjoys. // this is one of the best novotel hotel i’ve stayed. room is SO clean. they even have kids bedroom slippers and toothbrush. everything was thoughtfully planned out. nice shower system as well. they have dyson too haha

Everything is good. Only one thing that bothered me was the noisy. We booked standard room, they upgraded us to a loft suite. The room is nice and clean, with a washing machine. We love the room, however, it was so noisy when we were sleeping at night. You can hear anything from upstairs because your bed is on the second floor loft which is closed the ceiling. You can clearly hear People walking, talking, moving the chairs...
My suggestion is don't take the loft suite. Other than that was excellent stay.

The hotel is well located and allowed us to make our way within 10 mins to the Kunming train station. However we find the bed too firm for us. Didn't have breakfast at the restaurant but staff accommodated our request to pack some food for our trip early morning out of Kunming. Napping street and old Kunming old street are worth a visit. We had walked from Wen Lin street through the Jade lake to the old street. I highly recommend this walk, lovely!

It has a corridor to Hang Lung, and the goal of getting glasses is achieved. It is near Dongfeng Square and Tangzi Lane. It is very suitable for going to the high-speed rail station 🚄 or the airport ✈. The hotel staff will give directions. I thought this was a normal service, but when I arrived in Zhangjiajie, no one gave me directions, even told me how to locate. I found it precious. I came to give a good review today. Thank you for the unknown brother who helped with the luggage and directions (sorry, I didn’t see the name clearly). I had a good first impression of the store because he took the initiative to help with the luggage and brought my bag upstairs when I ate, so I didn’t have to carry the bag. Good review. It is indeed the basic service that a hotel should have, but after Guangzhou 🌰 and a hotel with a name starting with w in Chongqing did not help me with my luggage, I realized that this service should be available, but it depends on fate (I will not stay again if I don’t help with my luggage)
Ctrip called to book a restaurant and said that they would help me transfer to the buffet restaurant, but they hung up halfway. When I arrived at the site, I found that my seat was not reserved, but I finally got a seat 💺. I got all the food delivered by the buffet. I am also confused as to why some people in the comment area did not get it. I don’t know if the seafood is delicious 🤷. The grilled lamb kebabs, pudding, and ice cream I ate were ok. Unfortunately, I didn’t have room for soufflé (I am not picky about food). I was very satisfied with the roast duck slices in the Chinese restaurant. I can eat pure meat. There were few people and few dishes. I can only say that the hygiene is good (I was troubled by this point when I went to Zhangjiajie for dinner. There were bugs in the heated candlesticks. I have never seen such a thing). The restaurant does not charge for paper towels. I used to think that they were all the same (I have visited 10 or 20 cities and have never encountered a place that charges). The paper towels are in beautiful boxes or hung on the wall. It was not until I went to a restaurant in Zhangjiajie that I found out that paper towels are charged (blame me for my lack of knowledge). It was common before, but now I have to give a good review. And I did not get sick after eating hotel meals, and there was no spicy food (I got sick after eating three pots in one meal).
I chose this brand for the first time. In addition to the geographical location, another reason was that the sesame flowers and the lobby mentioned by netizens were really beautiful (more beautiful than the Brass Hotel in Beijing). The sesame flowers bloom higher and higher, which has a good meaning. I accidentally saw that the decoration on the washbasin was an animal climbing up. Does it mean climbing up? I like open space (I will get sick in cramped space😷 in Beijing, my brain is exhausted🧠, I plan to travel on a budget, I stayed in a 20 square meter store in Tiantongyuan and fell ill, and later changed to a 100+ store in Wangfujing before my health improved. I don’t want to experience a budget travel), the design of the sliding door is very clever, dividing the space, and the two colors of the wall are easy to identify. The slippers are neither good nor bad, and the bathrobe is neither good nor bad, just the normal level (the slippers of Juneyao Airlines are thicker). The shower gel, shampoo and conditioner are all brands that I would buy, which makes me like them (I will die on the spot if I see L'Occitane again, I don’t like L'Occitane, so I try to choose chain stores, but some places don’t have them, I’m angry). GGuest UserOverall, I like this hotel chain in general and would stay there again, both at this location and in other cities. This was not the first location for this chain that I have stayed at.
Location: The hotel is located in a fairly central location. It is very close to Green Lake, though you'll need a map in order to know that. It's across the street from a KFC, 711, and Starbucks, and around the corner from a Burger King. There are also quite a few shared bikes (both electric and not) available from several different companies in front of the hotel.
Amenities: Breakfast is available for an additional charge, and there is a laundry room. I used neither of these. The hotel room has a refrigerator and more than the standard two bottles of drinking water plus an electric kettle, tea set, two packets of tea, and some candy in a dish (that looked like it had been there for a very long time). This hotel chain is generally very good about giving you more water if you ask. The bed is very comfortable, the tv is huge, the shower is hot with good water pressure, and the room is clean overall. There were ink stains on the sofa, but no problems with the bedding. Some of the furniture/walls were starting to be in need of repair, but it's not a problem unless you're super picky.
Safety/Service: The front desk staff are always very nice and helpful and willing to answer any questions that you have, but you'll need to speak Mandarin or have a translator handy. English is limited or non-existent. I felt safe in my room, and I didn't worry about leaving things in my room that I generally keep on my person in other hotels. The maid was also very kind and helped me when I saw her in the hallway and asked for help with a small problem (that was totally just my ignorance and too embarrassing to mention!).
WIFI: Wifi is available, but there is no information about the network or password in the room that I could find. I went down to the front desk and the woman there put the password on my phone for me.
Quiet: Well, there were some very loud and very rude guests staying in rooms near me. I don't know what the hotel's response would have been as I didn't all the front desk to complain. It definitely could have been quieter. There was no noise from outside the hotel, though.
Problems: I stayed at this hotel three nights total but two times (one night at the beginning and two nights at the end of my trip). My second room at this hotel (when I stayed for two nights), there was a blinking light inside a grate in the ceiling that can only be seen when all the lights are out. It was really bothering me, and making it difficult for me to sleep. I called the front desk at approx. 12:30 in the morning, and they didn't quite understand my problem (completely due to my sub-par Mandarin), but they sent someone to take a look. The maintenance guy who came said he knew exactly what I was talking about once I pointed upward. He didn't need me to turn off the light and show him. He said there was nothing he could do. If they turned out that light, I would have no electricity in the room. He also said that it's like that in every room. I didn't remember seeing it in the first room I had stayed in at the beginning of my trip, and I also didn't remember it from when I had stayed for three nights at a different location. Whether it really exists in every room or not is here nor there, though it ought to be obvious that a blinking light that doesn't turn off when you turn all the lights off is a bad idea, and something ought to be done). It is possible that it exists in every room but that it's not visible from the bed in every room due to the placement of that grate.

GGuest UserLove everything about Mengjing Xiyue Hotel .The room was incredibly cozy & clean. There was even phone cables provided in the room. All the staff were polite, friendly and very helpful. There were several
choices of breakfast to select from. Healthy night sweet soups were served and delivered to room from 8pm onwards. Hotel also gave a little gift when we checked out. It was not easy to locate the hotel initially as it is somewhat hidden but once you know its location, the hotel is really convenient. There are shopping malls & food street nearby. Look forward to returning in the future.

GGuest UserVery suitable for parent-child families, the children's play area in the hotel is clean and rich. The constant temperature pool makes the children's holiday happy. The children's exclusive toiletries are thoughtfully prepared. There are both Chinese and Western meals, and the hygiene is visible, and the taste is suitable for all ages. The hotel environment is beautiful and quiet, and the surrounding forest trails are a good place for a walk. The fast-paced city life is fully relaxed here.

Also very close to railway station, which was just around 10 minutes of walk. Many food options, supermarket, 7/11, pharmacies nearby. The room was very clean, spacious, extra warm blanket was also available, the city view room was epic, amenities were good, I have zero complain. Thanks to the staffs who made my stay pleasant.

GGuest UserWe are Americans from Hong Kong and traveled to Kunming for our Easter holiday. The positives of this hotel: 1. it was beautiful. The design and furnishings were very well done and the room itself was exceptionally clean. 2. The owners were so kind. We arrived way after the tea time hour, but they still provided our family with cappuccinos and fresh fruit, free of charge. Both were delicious and our children were so excited about the gourmet coffee art. 3. The mattress in the main bed area was very comfortable. Not a typical “hard” mattress like many hotels in China. Another bonus: it was actually a KING size, which we rarely see outside the US! 4. The breakfast was Chinese style and the rice noodles were delicious! The hotel also had a beautiful courtyard area to eat outside. A few items to be aware of: 1. although the hotel was in a neighborhood near the lake, the neighborhood itself was a bit strange. We could tell it was meant to be a beautiful, well-to-do neighborhood of modern villas, but more than half the neighborhood was unused and/or under construction so it wasn’t as lively feeling in the evening because it was so dark and desolate seeming. It was beautiful in the daylight though! 2. This is not a big hotel chain, just an independent boutique style hotel operating in one of these villas. 3. There are no optimal eating spots near the hotel. You have to take a 20-30 minute Didi (taxi) ride to the nearest area with a lot of restaurants. However, if you like street food, there is a street food carnival area about 10 minutes away via walking (walk north along boardwalk bordering the lake.)
Overall, because of the kindness of the owners, the cleanliness and modernity, delicious breakfast, and comfortable mattress, we would definitely choose this hotel again for a one-night stopover.

SSUMINWe are from Lijiang and are going back to Thailand. Stop over at Khun Ming for 1 night, choose a hotel near the walking street, surrounded by shopping areas. Coming to the hotel is easy, you can take the subway from the high-speed rail station, Line 2, Kunming Subway Station, pass 3 stations, change to Line 3 at Dongfeng Square Station, then continue 1 more station, get off at Wuyi Station. Exit this station and find a shopping area. Walk 2-300 meters to the hotel.
There are 2 medium-sized bedrooms, and the bathroom shares a door. It's quite stiff and doesn't move very well.
If you don't think too much about the quality of the room Selecting a location first is still acceptable.

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a great location, right in the city center, not far from Nanping Pedestrian Street and Cuihu Park, which is very convenient for my travel. The boss's service attitude is also very good, kind and gentle to others. Great! The bed is also very comfortable to sleep on, and the decoration style is also the type I like. There is a North Railway Station next to it, and there are three subways, which is convenient to go anywhere. I will come to this hotel next time.
