Orange Hotel (Kunming Green Lake)

Great for families with kids! This time, our group of three adults and one child had a very comfortable stay. The hotel's location is convenient; you can walk to Green Lake Park and Huang Temple Road, and it's a short taxi ride to Kunming Old Street.

The hotel's location is excellent, right on Wenlin Road, just a few hundred meters from Cuihu Lake, making it easy to visit popular spots. The hotel's service and breakfast were both very good.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They even contacted me in advance and recommended some fantastic local delicacies. The room was also great – clean, tidy, and spacious enough. The location is super convenient, close to many attractions. Cuihu Lake, for example, is just a 10-minute walk away. Plus, there are plenty of dining options nearby, from coffee and desserts to rice noodles. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay.

The hotel overall was really good. The room was clean and tidy, meticulously cleaned, and the bedding was soft, ensuring a peaceful sleep. The location is convenient, close to Cuihu Lake. The service was warm and polite, and the facilities were complete and functional. It offers great value for money, making for a very comfortable stay. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time.

We extended our stay in the same room. The customer service staff were all very enthusiastic, and they even offered wheelchair service, which I really appreciate! 👍 It's also super convenient to go cycling around Cuihu Lake.

Staying here for a one-night business layover. It's located near a school and a pedestrian street, so it can be a bit noisy during the day, but that just adds to the local flavor. The hairdryer switch was broken, which was a bit inconvenient, but since it was just a temporary stay, I didn't mind too much.

I really like the toiletries at Orange Hotels, so I specifically chose to stay at the Orange Hotel by Cuihu Lake (Wenlin Street) for the last leg of my Yunnan trip to easily pick up some souvenirs. There's a parking lot right next to the hotel, which is super convenient if you're driving. The rooms are also the largest in the area. We did have a minor issue during our stay, but both Ctrip and the hotel were very responsive in resolving it. All in all, I'd definitely choose Orange Hotel and Ctrip again.

The front desk service was excellent. Any issues I had were addressed very quickly when I called. I accidentally stained the sheets one night and they promptly came to replace them without any fuss or blame. If the laundry room isn't convenient, you can leave a note and they'll help with your washing. When checking out, they even asked if I wanted some snacks, and there were complimentary cans of Coke and Sprite in the room. Overall, a fantastic experience.
