Gefei VX Hotel (North Square of Kunming Railway Station)

Hassle free check in. Room is very big and comfortable. Basically quite quiet in the night despite it being near the road. But do remember to close the windows.

Stayed at Gefei VX Hotel and found the location very convenient, especially being right next to the railway station—perfect for easy travel access. The family room was spacious, comfortable, and well-suited for a relaxing stay. I also appreciated the early check-in, which made the arrival much smoother. Service-wise, the younger staff were friendly and helpful. However, the senior staff at check-in could improve in terms of politeness and communication with guests. Overall, a comfortable stay with a great location and good room size.

Its location is incredibly convenient just a 5-minute walk to the train station, which made getting around the city effortless. There are also plenty of eateries along the street, so finding delicious food was never a problem. What truly made the stay special was the friendly and attentive staff. They kindly upgraded my room and even provided a complimentary breakfast voucher, which was a lovely and unexpected gesture that made me feel very welcomed. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. I would definitely revisit and highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and excellent service.
