Hampton by Hilton Kunming Nanping Pedestrian Street

Huge thanks to the front desk lady who upgraded our room around 6 PM on August 30th! 🩷 Even though our room faced the street, it was surprisingly quiet once the windows were closed – truly a 'tranquil oasis in the midst of noise.' The only minor drawback was the low water pressure in the shower.

Excellent service and attention to detail. The room's aroma was lovely, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The free minibar drinks were a thoughtful touch. The location is also fantastic, surrounded by shopping areas, making it convenient for both shopping and dining.

Huge thanks to Ms. Zhu at the front desk for providing us with the best check-in experience! Her warm service made us feel like family. She even gave us a complimentary room upgrade, which made my daughter so happy.

This new hotel offers a great overall experience. The room was clean and tidy, service was prompt, and attention to detail was excellent. I particularly loved the scent of the hotel's toiletries; it was very pleasant, making for a really comfortable stay. Highly recommend.

The hotel's location is excellent, right near Green Lake. It was incredibly convenient for exploring Wenlin Street, Cultural Alley, and Yunnan University with my kids. The rice noodles with tofu for breakfast were absolutely delicious. The hotel itself was very clean, and the bathroom was spacious. The service was also fantastic; they offered a complimentary late check-out until 2:00 PM, and even gave us tea and a beautiful pen as a parting gift when we left – a really thoughtful touch!

The hotel's location is excellent, just three subway stops from the train station. It's also very close to the old town and the subway station. Although the room wasn't huge, the bathroom was spacious, and the service was great. Some guests mentioned there were only two elevators, leading to occasional waits, but it wasn't a significant issue. Overall, it was good, and the breakfast was plentiful. I would definitely stay here again.

The room was very clean and had no strange smells! The bed was really comfortable to sleep in!

Before arriving, I honestly didn't have high expectations; I just thought the price was right. But once I got to the room, I was pleasantly surprised – it was really clean! The only downside was that the bed was right in front of the door with no screen, which was a bit awkward. The hotel is in a lively downtown area, and it gets quite busy at night. It's super easy to find, right on a street corner, just a straight walk from Exit D of Dongfeng Square on Metro Line 3. Check-in was quick and efficient, but not very comprehensive. They didn't tell me where breakfast was served until I asked, which was a bit annoying, especially since I was the only one checking in at the time. The shower water kept suddenly turning scalding hot. I mentioned it to the front desk, and they were very apologetic and had a great attitude, though it seems this is a recurring issue. For amenities, you can scan a QR code in the room and self-select what you need. A robot delivers them, and you can even see the robot's location on the TV – very smart! Overall, I slept quite well. The breakfast had a good variety, and all the staff were friendly and helpful.

My stay this trip was excellent! A special thanks to Xiao Ling at the front desk who got me checked in in under a minute and clearly explained the local transportation and breakfast times. The breakfast was also plentiful, and the hotel is very close to the old town, just a ten-minute walk away. Her efficiency saved me a lot of time. Highly recommend!
