the hotel is in the center of Kunming and near tourist attractions, and is a little bit narrow to enter ( but it can be reached using a map ) nice he hospitality

The room layout was great, and the front desk staff were very friendly. Even though the hospital next door was undergoing renovations, they stopped working at night, so it was very quiet.🌟 Plus, the location is super convenient, close to both the subway and bus stations. I could easily catch an early morning subway to the airport. The security measures are also excellent; food deliveries can only be left on the first floor.

The room was a little bit smaller than I expected because the bed is right next to the door. We had 2 large suitcases. Other than that, they had good service. Overall, we had a good stay at the ibis hotel.

First things first: The hospital near the hotel is currently undergoing renovations, likely until late October. Construction starts around 8 AM daily. Higher floors might offer some relief, but light sleepers, even with earplugs, might still be affected. It’s definitely something to consider. Our initial plan was to stay somewhere with direct subway access and close to a snack street, which led us to choose this location near Tangzixiang subway station. Since Ibis is part of the HUAZHU Hotels Group, we felt confident in the quality and booked it directly. We arrived on a late-night flight, so our options were either bus or taxi. Taking the bus would still require a taxi from Kunming Station. A ride-hailing service from the airport directly to the hotel, including highway tolls, cost about 65-70 RMB. The front desk offers 24-hour check-in. Interestingly, there was only a 10 RMB difference between booking in advance and on the day. Keep in mind that advance bookings typically cannot be canceled after 11 PM the night before. We opted for the standard double room, which felt a bit cramped. Once our luggage was open, there was hardly any space left. The shower area had a wet/dry separation, and basic amenities were provided. If anything was missing, we could order it via phone for free delivery. There were no regular slippers in the room, which was inconvenient for showering; we had to request them. Despite being a budget hotel, the soundproofing was decent. The hotel offers luggage storage and umbrella rental. The sour plum juice at the front desk was delicious. There are plenty of takeout options near the hotel. I highly recommend Tiepeng Xiaoguo Mixian. Overall, for around 200 RMB, the price is acceptable, and the service is very good. However, the rooms are just average, so you might want to explore other options.

Located in the bustling Beijing Road commercial area, it's very close to Jinma Biji Archway and Yongqiang Food Street, among other attractions. The transportation is convenient, the facilities are complete, and the service is very attentive. The breakfast is rich and plentiful, and the young lady who served us was particularly good.

I stayed 3 days. Everyone was very helpful and kind. I think it's a very good hotel and quite affordable for a short trip in Kunming. The location is very good, near the Kunming Railway Station. I would definitely recommend it to everyone. 谢谢。

I was instantly amazed at first glance! The cement walls, metal lines, and geometric lighting make the entire hotel feel like a minimalist art piece. Every casual photo turns into a high-end, artistic shot 📸. The room interior is even more impressive with perfect attention to detail! ✔️ Smart toilet, high-quality bedding ✔️ Muji-style toiletries, excellent quality ✔️ Super large floor-to-ceiling windows, the sunlight streaming in is so therapeutic ✔️ Design ingenuity evident in every detail. What surprised me most was: 🌟 Incredible value for money! For around 200+ per person, you get a five-star experience 🌟 Super convenient location, close to everything 🌟 Thoughtful service, the front desk lady was super nice 🌟 Excellent soundproofing, slept like a baby until I naturally woke up.

Good location, staff able to speak English

The room was clean and well-appointed, with a very comfortable bed and comprehensive facilities. The bathroom was spacious. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and provided exceptional service. Breakfast was also fantastic, especially the freshly prepared rice noodles.

This is my second stay at Ibis, and I'm pleased to say the service remains excellent, and the room was spotless. The breakfast was also quite good; although the variety wasn't extensive, they had all the essentials, and everything was healthy and tasty. I especially enjoyed the freshly cooked rice and regular noodles. The staff (the ladies) working at the breakfast station were incredibly warm and welcoming. The young team at the front desk were all very pleasant and attractive. Kunming's weather is truly wonderful – I'm already feeling gloomy thinking about returning to the heat back home!

Very clean, great service, and conveniently located near the train station with plenty of dining options and local snacks nearby.

Facilities: Well-equipped with modern amenities. Environment: The surroundings are pleasant, and they even provide an electric mosquito repellent to prevent insect bites. Service: The service is excellent; staff always greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure.

The hotel is a short walk from the Tangzixiang Metro Station. Jinbi Square is about 25 minutes walk away (there is no convenient public transport connection as it requires a long walk on both ends). Room is clean enough but the common areas could be cleaner. Bed is okay, good enough for a night’s rest. However, sound insulation is very poor, and you can hear the street noise and sounds from the other rooms. The plugs are not internationally compatible so you’ll need an adapter. Entrance is via a pedestrian sidewalk so you’ll need to get your car from the main road.

The room arrangements were perfect for us since we were two families traveling with children, and they even put us on the same floor. Upon check-in, they also provided toiletries for the kids. We even received complimentary flower cakes upon check-out. We were very happy with our stay!
