Right on the center of everything, very convenient, very clean rooms, comes with toothbrush, comb, shaving kits. And more! Definitely recommend. Walking distance to local shops with hundreds of choices.

Great location as food and walking streets are very nearby. Kunming old street, nanqiang and nanping streets with shopping malls all within walking distance. Hotel cleanliness is top. Though its an old hotel, but amenities are new. Only downside is the toilet didnt come with bid-get to spray. Food wise during breakfast buffet was good. Lots of variety from western and eastern. One thing to improve however, is the interaction between the staffs and guests. Throughout the stay, no one asked us hows the stay/food. It looked like we are just another person walking by. On this end, hotel can improve in this. Becos its this kind of small things are made guests feel like home and distinguish them from a normal 5stars to a great 5 stars hotel.

The breakfast here is absolutely amazing! I'd give it a resounding 'thumbs up'! First off, the variety is incredible. You can find all sorts of authentic Yunnan specialties – from grilled Erkuai and flower pastries to papaya water, they have it all! Secondly, the different kinds of rice noodles are so delicious! I think the 'xiaoguo mixian' (small pot rice noodles) is even better than what you'd find at most restaurants outside. The toppings (or 'hats' as they call them in Yunnan dialect) are super rich too; the 'Sanxian' (three fresh ingredients) and pork hock options are both excellent. P.S. It's even more refined than the breakfast at Cuihu, I love it!

The hotel's location is pretty good. It's about 700 meters from Metro Line 2 (a common issue with Kunming's subway, being far from attractions). It's also just two blocks from Spring City 66 and two blocks from Nanqiang Night Market, so it's a pleasant stroll away. Kunming Old Street and Cuihu Park are easily reachable by bike. The hotel's cleanliness is excellent, and I was especially impressed that the hairdryer was a Laifen! The soundproofing is also good. The front desk staff are very welcoming. As an established five-star hotel, it offers great value for money.

Tianheng Hotel is my go-to hotel whenever I visit Kunming, and my child loves it too. My little one always says she feels so safe and comfortable as soon as we arrive. Tianheng Hotel keeps getting better and more thoughtful! They've added self-service vending machines in the lobby, stocked with all sorts of daily necessities – no more needing to order in! The quality is great, and they even have bread, which is such a nice touch. The toiletries in the room have also been upgraded and are much better than before. Honestly, I'm a big fan of Tianheng.
