Orange Hotel Kunming Railway Station

Stayed here overnight while catching an early train. The service was excellent, and the room was very comfortable. Our trip to Yunnan ended on a sour note, but this hotel's warm and thoughtful hospitality offered a much-needed comfort. It's quite close to the train station, making it perfect for travelers in transit. Highly recommend!

I'm a regular HUAZHU Hotels member, and I've only stayed at Atour, Mercure, and JI Hotels before this. This was my first time at an Orange Hotel, and I was pleasantly surprised! The theme elements and decor style of Orange Hotel are quite good, and the staff's service was excellent.

This hotel is conveniently located near Kunming Station, just a 7-8 minute walk away. It's a bit further from the busiest part right outside the station, and you'll pass by many street vendors on the way. Inside, the hotel environment is quite good and very clean. The front desk staff were also very nice.

You can't go wrong with an Orange Hotel, typically they're quite reliable. This particular Orange Hotel offered the best service I've experienced recently, and the facilities were excellent too. I was so satisfied that I extended my stay for another night on Thursday. **Environment:** It's about an 8-9 minute walk to the train station, which is acceptable if you don't have a lot of luggage. There are a few restaurants downstairs, convenience stores nearby, and it's easy to hail a taxi right outside. **Cleanliness:** It's rare to find a hotel room that's completely free of stray hairs and dust upon inspection, but both rooms I stayed in here were spotless. **Facilities:** The overall facilities aren't old. The blackout curtains are fantastic, the mattress is just the right firmness, and the shower doesn't leak. The smart speaker ('Xiao Du') is super convenient – you can just give commands as soon as you walk in. The only minor drawback is that the bathroom exhaust sometimes carries a slight cigarette smell. **Service:** The front desk attendant was incredibly responsible. When we switched rooms, she even called to check if the new room was to our liking. She always greeted us warmly, whether we were leaving in the morning or returning at night. And upon checkout, she even gave us a small parting gift.

The front desk staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. They even upgraded my room for free and gave me a heads-up about nearby construction. The room itself was clean and spacious, and I loved that a robot delivered my food orders directly to my room! The hotel is less than a ten-minute walk from Kunming Station, which made getting around super easy. To top it off, they even gave me a local Yunnan souvenir when I checked out. This place really goes the extra mile! I'd definitely recommend it to my friends.

Overall, it's pretty good. It's very close to the subway station and Kunming Station, making it convenient to go anywhere. The only downside is that the toilet and shower are quite cramped, especially when you step out after a shower, it feels a bit awkward.🤣

The Orange Hotel Kunming Railway Station branch is absolutely fantastic! The location is superb, just a 10-minute walk to the train station, and there are so many amazing food options nearby that you'll be spoiled for choice. The rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast offers a rich selection, with rice noodles, coffee, and fruits – incredible value for money! I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Kunming!
