After checking in, I enjoyed the delicious food prepared by the landlady. Her sweet yeast and egg drop soup instantly chased away the chill of the evening temperature difference. Because of this warm feeling, I stayed an extra night, wanting to eat her cooking again. The kitchen is open-plan, allowing for close inspection and use, making me feel right at home. The homestay has three floors, and each room on the second and third floors has ample sunlight and excellent lighting. From the rooms on the second and third floors, you can see the opposite side of Dianchi Lake and the sunrise and sunset, with views of Dianchi Lake and the green mountains. Drinking tea, chatting, and basking in the sun in a cozy and comfortable courtyard is very pleasant. There is an independent kitchen, and resting at night is quiet. I stumbled upon this guesthouse and absolutely fell in love with it! The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming. We had delightful conversations and learned so much about the local culture and customs. They even recommended a small eatery in the village, and the food was absolutely delicious! I'll definitely be staying here again on my next trip. I even tried to extend my stay this time, but they were fully booked. The old wooden house had a wonderful, historic charm. The bathroom was spotless, smelled fresh, and had no hint of dampness. While being an old wooden house meant occasional creaking sounds, it surprisingly didn't disturb my sleep at all. The courtyard offered a wonderfully comfortable and serene environment; simply relaxing there was pure bliss.
