Kusatsu Estopia Hotel

This is Kusatsu's number one luxury hotel, truly excellent. I only ever book it when I can get a good deal.

I had a very comfortable stay for two days. The room was spotlessly clean, the bed was large, and the environment was quiet. While the facilities weren't exactly new, the hairdryer and shower nozzle were ReFa brand, which was a first for me. The shopping mall was right in front of the hotel, making it very convenient for dining and shopping. If I had to nitpick, I wish the toilet had been a little newer, as had the toilet paper.

It was very clean and comfortable. I was grateful that there were two bottles of water. The only thing that seemed a little far away was the parking lot.

The location is good. It is in front of the station and there are malls and other commercial facilities nearby, so it is a lively place. It is close to Omihachiman and is a perfect place to stay after exploring the historic city.

There are no restaurants nearby, so I would like the hotel restaurant to have a menu similar to that of an izakaya or family restaurant. Also, while there are vending machines for alcohol and ice in the hotel, there are no vending machines for coffee or juice, which was inconvenient.

The front desk staff were very polite.

Since the hotel was nearby, we had dinner and breakfast at home. Because of the house renovation, the bath was out of service, so we stayed overnight and took a nice long bath. The parking lot is free, so it's convenient if you have a car.
