Toyoko Inn Biwako Sen Minami Kusatsu Eki Nishi Guchi

I booked a double room at the last minute. The bed was very comfortable, and while the breakfast was average, it was sufficient. The restaurant and the lobby on the first floor are shared, so the space was used very well. It's a 5-6 minute walk from the station, which is satisfactory.

Located right next to the JR station, a 5-minute walk away, and a 20-minute train ride from Kyoto Station, it's an undeniably good value choice during cherry blossom season. The hotel includes breakfast; the selection is limited but decent, though the hot soup is quite good. There's a FamilyMart convenience store nearby.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable! The room wasn't very spacious, but it was comfortable and convenient! The breakfast was also delicious.

It's alright. The hotel rooms are relatively large for Japanese standards. The breakfast is very average. It's very close to the station.

The hotel room is a standard Japanese space, not too big but still acceptable. However, there is no free parking. The hotel receptionist recommended a nearby parking lot, where overnight parking only costs ¥550, which is very convenient.

This was my first time staying at a Toyoko Inn. The location was great, right near the station, and the parking was affordable. I had high hopes for breakfast, but it was a bit disappointing. They ran out of bread, the side dishes were limited, and the taste was just average. With prices so high, I should be grateful for free breakfast at all.

Clean. The breakfast was good. It had a very Japanese homey feel.

The location is just turn left after exiting the station and walk about 100 meters along the railway tracks. Super convenient!
