It is on the upper floor of the soba restaurant in front of Yubatake. Great location. Good for sightseeing and walking. You can hardly hear any noise when you enter the room. You can take a bath at night. The room was spacious and well cleaned. It was my first time using it, so I had two meals. The contents were good, but breakfast starts at 9:00 and check out is at 10:00. Depending on the number of nights or the purpose, you may eat out or go shopping without meals.
Kusatsu Onsen Kusatsu Hotel1913

We stayed for one night on November 28. Reservation is HP of Kusatsu Hotel. We booked a main building corner room with two meals per night. You can pick up and drop off by car from Kusatsu Onsen Bus Terminal. Kusatsu Hotel is a beautiful Japanese style inn with a wooden 3-story building built on the high ground of the entrance to the West Kawahara Park. The quaint building is very good atmosphere. The antique furnishings and decorated raw flowers were modest and beautiful. The adjacent Kataoka Tsurutaro Museum of art seems to be operated by Kusatsu Hotel. The corner room on the 3 floor of the main building was a good room with a good view with two corners surrounded by windows. The old wooden frame window feels good. Thanks to the snow that had fallen the day before, we enjoyed the snowy scenery of Kusatsu. The ”Okuba” of the restaurant, which was extended to 2020, is a modern and bright atmosphere while leaving a Japanese taste. The breakfast and evening meals were beautiful, and all the dishes using fresh ingredients were delicious. The public bath (open-air two hot water) is also in a new separate building. It is full of openness and is kept clean. With a large inner bath with a source hanging water and an open-air bath, Kusatsu! It was a very pleasant hot water. (West Kawahara source) Kusatsu Hotel, great satisfaction with a wonderful inn as word of mouth!

I visited 12/30. I stayed in a chick bean room. ● Good points • There are 4 private hot springs (flowing directly from Yubata source), and they are not full at any time and I put them in when I like. • Welcome sweets were very delicious. • Self-service seasonal flavor water was fashionable and tasted good. Especially the red jiso drink was delicious. • Breakfast is beautiful, cute and delicious. The rice balls and miso soup were refilled. • The staff who greeted me brightly and politely when I saw off was good. • The location is a little sloped, but it is very close to Yubatake, so it is convenient for sightseeing. • I thought that the concept of the inn was only young people, but that wasn't the case. • Corona measures were also solid. I could choose the breakfast time in detail and eat it in a state like a private room. Except for seeing two groups at check-in, I never passed by other people in the hall. ● Bad points • I was a little worried about the smell of the room. • The scenery is not visible in the location. (Is it depending on the room? ??) I thought that I was doing my best with a small but warm and ingenious hospitality. The concept is also clear ◎. I think it is a good inn that remains firmly in the impression!

It was a revisit to Kyoritsu Resort the following month after being disappointed at La Vista Hakodate, so I wasn't expecting much, but this one was pretty good. When I parked my car in the parking lot, a young staff member came up to me to carry my luggage. The rooms are easy to use with hot spring open-air baths, and since it is built on a hill, the scenery is not bad even though it is a residential area. In addition, the hot springs are different in room baths, large public baths, and private baths, so I was able to enjoy various things. Also, Russian food for dinner? Full course / breakfast of this was buffet, but was delicious. Although it is far from Kusatsu's hot spring town, there is a shuttle bus so I didn't feel any inconvenience. If I have a chance to visit Kusatsu again, I would like to stay again.
