I visited 12/30. I stayed in a chick bean room. ● Good points • There are 4 private hot springs (flowing directly from Yubata source), and they are not full at any time and I put them in when I like. • Welcome sweets were very delicious. • Self-service seasonal flavor water was fashionable and tasted good. Especially the red jiso drink was delicious. • Breakfast is beautiful, cute and delicious. The rice balls and miso soup were refilled. • The staff who greeted me brightly and politely when I saw off was good. • The location is a little sloped, but it is very close to Yubatake, so it is convenient for sightseeing. • I thought that the concept of the inn was only young people, but that wasn't the case. • Corona measures were also solid. I could choose the breakfast time in detail and eat it in a state like a private room. Except for seeing two groups at check-in, I never passed by other people in the hall. ● Bad points • I was a little worried about the smell of the room. • The scenery is not visible in the location. (Is it depending on the room? ??) I thought that I was doing my best with a small but warm and ingenious hospitality. The concept is also clear ◎. I think it is a good inn that remains firmly in the impression!

Location - about 10min walk from the bus terminal at Kusatsu station. Walkable unless it's snowy or froze on the ground as part of the path is quite steep to walk up. Not hard to find as the town is quite close to everything. About 15min walk to yubatake for the famous onsen for pictures and local food and snacks. You can walk to the Sainokawara Onsen(open air public onsen) for about 8min which is located just behind the hotel itself. Service - they do provide transport to and from Yubatake with a specific timetable. They also have an open luggage area at the main hall if you area before check-in you could just leave the luggage and explore the town. They also have separate gender onsen with both indoor and outdoor facilities. They came around 7pm to my room to offer to set up my sleeping mattress. The dinner time was 6.45pm to 8pm and they may vary between seasons. You will be located in a seat in the dining room so don't worry about the crowd and having to fight for your seat. It's buffet style food and I read previous comments about food being cold. They aren't cold as it was heated around 60c ish but the moment food leaves the Bain Marie it will become cold especially during winter. Alcohol is included but you need to be 18 years old. They will start closing some stations including soft serve around 7.30pm so do get there earlier. Cleanliness - just an older building and maintenance pretty ok. You could tell from the design it's a bit outdated but it wasn't dirty or messy. Amenities - they have a Japanese sleep/bath robe at the main hall for guests to take if you need. There's no wifi in the room unfortunately and the only free wifi provided by the hotel is just located down at the main hall. I was given a Japanese style room which is pretty standard. It was on the 7th floor so it came with a pretty good view.

There are few old stores that don't have a Hu Za, but I think they are not here. If you stay at Kusatsu Onsen, you choose an inn that you think is a good place for a day. It was good as you chose. However, it was a cheap plan, so I couldn't see the main territory, but it was good to think that it was 〜 Japanese inn.

I booked a twin room, but since the accommodation confirmation email said that smoking was possible, I asked for a change of room and changed it to a Japanese-style room. If you want to quit smoking, we recommend avoiding twins as all rooms can smoke. In fact, the smoking room smelled very strong, but the front desk was very good and I was relieved. The facilities are old but there was no problem. Is the sound of flushing the toilet noisy? It's quite comfortable. The bath is Mandai no Yu, which feels gentler than Yubatake no Yu, but Kusatsu no Yu has the power to make your body burn and sleep hard, it's a stone's throw! Both the indoor and open-air baths are quite large and comfortable. The food is the best! This cospa is wonderful for 10,000 yen! !! Moreover, it seems to be a service, but even though it was a basic plan, it had crabs! I dared to avoid crab because it was difficult, but it was still delicious! Thank you! , Is it hard because it is mainly made from Gunma prefecture and has 200g of pork? I didn't expect it, but I was very satisfied with the soft and very good meat at all! Breakfast is also on-parade from Gunma, especially the natto is wonderful and delicious, and it costs 3700 yen for 9 pieces, but I bought it as a souvenir. But considering this price, it's ok at all, and there is a transfer to the daitokan of Yubata, and it is a really wonderful inn with a lot of manga. Absolutely recommended! !! I also want to stay for a long time
KAMENOI HOTEL KUSATSU YUBATAKE

New decoration, it should be refurbished, the details still see the old traces, the dust is very big, the countertop is very dusty. Because it is not a self-driving car, it is far away from the hotel, but after check-in, the hotel will send a password for the shortcut of Tangyu, and it will really be 3 minutes to go to Tangyu. But I think the service is very good, the room can not call, my phone card only has the Internet function, I went to the front desk to borrow, the hotel waiter was very good, helped me call, took up a lot of time, did not be impatient, thank you very much. The price is very affordable, one berth and two meals (both buffets, more categories, delicious), and a night dandan noodles, should be 3 random conversions every day, a small brick, delicious.
