But the Hinoki Cedar onsen bath in our room was the best. Private and as long as I liked. We had the third floor Modern Japanese room which is designed to be the Captains' Room with a deck in the appearance of the ship' bow. Very large, comfortable beds, and loved the ceiling-to-floor windows. All drinks in fridge and dinner were free and the sake was excellent. Dinner was served in private sectioned rooms but with a public, almost festival-like atmosphere. Beautiful arrangements, lovely choice of flavors and very creative dishes. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Sadly, no elevators. Will look forward to visiting again!
