Kyoto Station
Stayed 2 nights in this hotel, easy to check in, front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very nice and comfortable. We had a view over looking the train station and could not hear it. Morning breakfast was magnificent both western and Japanese breakfast selections. Like earlier station is across the street and a quick ride to site seeing area or back to the Kyoto station. Would definitely stay here again.

Kyoto Station
The Comfort Hotel Kyoto is relatively well located and easily accessible from the train station by bus and a short walk. Big plus, there is very good coffee and a homemade lemonade for guests to use free of charge. The lobby or the dining room can be used very well as a lounge during the day, since the rooms are very small, as is often the case in Japan. The breakfast buffet can still be improved, there is no bread or a toaster. Also the garbage mountain with only plastic cutlery and paper cups is enormous! Buying cutlery that can be washed and reused would be desirable.

Kawaramachi
This time, I stayed for 2 nights at work, but there was a station where Hankyu and subway could be used, and Lawson was near the hotel, and there were many restaurants if I walked a little, and it was a hotel in a convenient location for work and meals anyway. I booked with a single at a reasonable price, but upgraded to a twin room for free. The room was clean, there were outlets on the desk and bed, and there were many lights, so it was an easy-to-use room anyway. The bathtub was large, the shower was easy to use and comfortable. This time, the clock band broke during work, so when I asked the front desk staff at the time of check-out to ask the clock shop where the clock can be repaired, please check it carefully. It was very helpful to tell me some according to the opening hours. The next time I have a job in Kyoto, I wanted to use it again.
