So glad to booked this hotel for my stay in Kyoto . 5 min walk from Kyoto station Just cross the street of one of the most beautiful castles in Japan Clean and spacious rooms .. and Japanese onsen for free , to relax after a tired day

It was a wonderful hotel right in front of Higashi Honganji Temple! It was clean and comfortable. The only thing that bothered me was the loud air conditioning and the lack of amenities. There was no water in the room, so if you need it, I recommend buying some before entering the room.

The breakfast buffet was very filling and delicious. I also liked that we could use both the large and small baths. The room was spacious and clean, and the location of Higashi Honganji Temple was great. I also liked the service of storing our luggage after check-out. My only complaint is that there were no towels provided in the bathroom. There were no hand towels, so I had to use the towel I brought with me to the bath, and there were no bath towels lol

The hotel's location is decent, about a 20-30 minute walk from transportation, which is fine if you can handle it. The breakfast was excellent. The restaurant is small, but the service and food were thoughtfully presented, the flavors were excellent, and there were variations every day. This was the most satisfying aspect of the entire trip. I absolutely loved the herbal porridge. Could the owner teach me how to make it? Other amenities, such as shuttle service, hot springs, and iced coffee, were also very thoughtful. The room's overall color palette was quite dark, which was a bit off-putting, making it dim and dingy. The bed was also quite small. However, it had everything you needed, and the soundproofing was acceptable. Overall, I was very satisfied and would stay here again next time I visit Kyoto.
