Hotel Excellence Enmachi Ekimae

Stayed here again. The facilities are comprehensive, and the room is comfortable and clean. The front desk service is professional and thoughtful. The hotel's location is excellent, with many station options nearby, making it convenient to get anywhere. The price is reasonable and offers good value for money.

The hotel is conveniently located just across the street from Enmachi Station; you just turn right out of the station, cross the road, and you're there. It's also close to Arashiyama, only three stops away. The hotel entrance is on the basement level, accessible by stairs only, as there's no elevator. The room was clean, but the window couldn't be opened for ventilation, and there was a persistent foot odor that was hard to get rid of. Breakfast consisted of toast, instant noodles, coffee, and tea. However, there are many small eateries and bus stops nearby, making it easy to get to any attraction. There's no laundry service, not even a paid one.

Overall, the hotel is decent. It's conveniently located, and the toiletries in the bathroom were a pleasant surprise. Even though the shower head is small, the water pressure is strong, making for a comfortable shower experience. However, the double room we stayed in was identical in size and bed dimensions to a single room, which made it feel quite cramped.

Great stay, and the service was excellent.

The hotel environment is quiet and peaceful. The decor is simple yet elegant, and the facilities are complete and well-maintained. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, with plenty of hot water and stable pressure. The cleanliness is excellent, even the corners are spotless. The service attitude is also great, with quick responses to requests. It offers amazing value for money and is definitely worth coming back to!
