It was a very satisfying stay. Even though I arrived late at night, the manager called me before leaving work and gave me very kind and clear instructions, which put me at ease. I didn't meet any staff members during check-in or check-out, but the process was smooth with no issues at all. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the shared kitchen was very convenient for meals. I would definitely like to stay here again if I have the chance.

Fully equipped apartments. Allowed to leave luggage, there is an opportunity to cook your own meals, friendly staff, clean linen.

Finally, we found a bed with a slatted base and not just a hard board! The apartment was brand new, but we were annoyed that the washing machine didn't work properly; the dryer kept showing an error.

It's very quiet and spacious, plus it's close to all the nearby attractions.

We have stayed in the Gion area before, so we wanted to try a different area. This is very near the Kyoto station, just take bus 9 or 50. From the stop, the guest house is a few steps away. Agree with the other review, this room is big for 3 vs. Japanese standard. They provide the basic amenities, and having a common kitchen is a plus. There are grocery stores at the bus stop. On our first night, we were asked to stay in a different room, and we had to transfer to the one that we booked the next day. Bringing down and leaving our luggage at the reception was a bit of an invonvenience, but overall, we had a pleasant stay, and we'd recommend this place to friends.

A nice, tidy hotel. Conveniently located, clean room. The only thing missing was some storage space (shelves or hangers), but that's not a big deal.

I liked the room. It had two rooms and a private courtyard. Everything was there: a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine with detergent and dryer, and everything else you might need for a home. We had trouble getting the hot water to work; the tap just wouldn't turn on right away. You need to know which button to press in the hallway to turn on the water; call the staff to explain.

A hostel with a shared kitchen and private bathroom. Very clean and quiet, with a great location in Kyoto! Plenty of amenities nearby. The owner was very friendly and helpful. I recommend it!

The pictures show the actual guest rooms! Windows are windows, balconies are balconies! There's a kitchen on the first floor, complete with cooking utensils, a coffee machine, a refrigerator, etc.!

Everything was great; there's even a kitchen on the first floor where you can cook your own meals. The only downside was that the sink drained incredibly slowly. I cleaned the hair out of the drain myself, but it still drained very slowly!!! Check-in and check-out were handled by the self-service system, with detailed email communication and prompt replies.

Very spacious! We had room 101 and shared it with friends, and there was plenty of room for five of us. We were pleased that the toilet, sink, and shower were all separate, making it easy to organize our morning visit. The shower was very spacious! It's located a bit far from the city's attractions, requiring a bus ride, but it was easy to get to remote places like Arashiyama. When checking in, the owner gave us the wrong code for the mailbox and indicated the wrong room, but everything was quickly and easily resolved via email. It's just a shame the washing machine doesn't have a dryer, as it rained and nothing dried in the courtyard.
