Extremely satisfied with our stay. Room was clean and spacious, perfect for 3 pax. Water pressure was strong too. Hotel is within walking distance to Kyoto Station (5-7mins). The hotel also very kindly provided free bfast at the exec lounge for our room tier. Variety is the same throughout but hey, no complaints considering how it’s complimentary.

The quality & the service does not represent the Hilton brand. Location was not so close with station & you'll need to walk ~10 mins to/ from the station, which is hard especially if you have a lot of luggage. Staff was not welcoming and not helpful, even after check out they refuse to give me a bottle of water. It did not represent the friendly city of Kyoto that I love. The lobby was not nice and felt very cramped for a 5 star hotel, it felt like a 3 star hotel which was disappointing considering how much I paid for my stay.

Such a nice and cozy hotel. Room consider big in Japan. Very new hotel. Both side hotel walking distance less than 5 minutes got 7-11. Walk 15 minutes to AEON mall. Opposite is JR station and so many shop & restaurants there. Wonderful hotel. 15 minutes drive to Rokuon Ji knikaku

Special thanks to Mina who help us on travel in Japan, she is very nice and patience. We stayed in Kyoto 4 days and Shirakawa-go village one day, she introduced us every single tips and wrote down the railway/bus transport details since the Japan railway/Shinkansen/bus/subway system is a little bit complicated for us. Appreciate her warm help again, hope everything goes well with her.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for three nights and had a pleasant experience. It’s conveniently located about a 7-10 minute walk from Kyoto Station, surrounded by a few other hotels and a 7-11 convenience store. The room was somewhat compact, but this didn’t bother us since we spent most of our time exploring the city. One highlight of our stay was the gym, which is well-equipped with essential facilities. We also appreciated the laundry services, which were incredibly easy to use; you can even check the availability of machines on your in-room TV screen. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to newcomers visiting Kyoto. It offers a comfortable stay in a great location.

Breakfast limited variety. Limited fresh fruit and mostly canned fruit rather than fresh fruit totally unhealthy food. Chef didn’t have clue how the omelet is made it was difficult to make them understand because language barrier. We were 5 people for two rooms lone room had  3 people and two people for second room. There was extra sofa bed hidden under the bed. We asked for the sofa bed  which they brought and charge us £50 rather than informing us that there is sofa bed in one room. I consider this  as a fraudulent practice.

The hotel's location is great - walking distance from Kyoto Station.   Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful to recommend restaurants and things to do.   The room is extremely small - we don't believe it's accurate to its advertised size.  The property seems to be renovated from an older building as the room ceilings are low and room structure feels "temporary" especially the bathroom.   For the size, it's very overpriced.  

Great service, concierge (?) Murat was very helpful and friendly. Location is good, close to the station. All the amenities are great, good value for money.

Quite new hotel. Staffs are welcoming and it’s close to everywhere for drivers. Would recommend to stay in this hotel

We stayed at four hotels in Japan, and this was my favorite and most satisfying one. Although it’s not very big, it perfectly captures the Kyoto style and has a Zen atmosphere. There’s a supermarket nearby, and it’s easy to get a taxi. Thank you, DoubleTree, for giving us such a wonderful memory!

The hotel is 7-8 mins on foot from Kyoto Station. Parking is limited but there are another 1 which is 1 min away. Breakfast is fine but lunch and dinner options are a bit limited. The hotel is new and the rooms are clean. In general we are happy with our stay.

Very clean hotel, friendly staff, great service. Location is fantastic, right next to a central railway station, so it’s easy to travel around Kyoto. The only downside is about laundry room, it is there, however only 2 washing machines are there. For 3 days I was not able to use those. People get in the cue 1 hour (!!!) in beforehand to get the spot which I consider a disaster. Smoking room is near the entrance outside. Clean and convenient too. Wi-fi fast and easy to use.

Hotel is near the railway station and bus station. 7 eleven and Lawson near hotel too
