Kyoto Shinmachi Rokkaku Hotel Grandereverie Reviews

Delightful small hotel with only 12 rooms in central Kyoto. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a comfy bed. The shower was a bit over-engineered - with 4 different water outlets and a very confusing set of controls. But it worked fine. We didn't try the jacuzzi-style tub. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful, if not very proficient in English. There is no food service but lots of dining options very close by. I'd stay there again for sure.

What a lovely little hotel with super friendly and kind staff. Rooms are of a great size and the bathroom was pretty big too. Free bottled water was provided each day. Location is good, and hotel is on a quiet street. Would definitely recommend.

Nice hotel good breakfast but really terrible location. Nothing around and very dangerous to walk at night because it is not well lighted and it is easy to be hit by bikes or cars. I don’t understand the great reviews about location Nice staff Wish I had chosen a good location

Amazing! That’s the only word I can say. It was not my first time in Japan but the first in such a nice hotel! The size of the hotel, the size of the room is more than perfect! Only 12 rooms are available and all that’s make this hotel so unique in Kyoto. When I’ve to be back in Kyoto, I will stay here!

Nous ne pouvons que confirmer les autres avis sur cet hôtel. Nous avons passé un super séjour de 4 jours à kyoto dans cet hôtel. Les chambres sont spacieuses, jolies et très bien équipée. Les lits sont confortables, la salle de bain est géniale. Cela aura été la meilleure chambre d’hôtel de notre voyage au Japon! Les seules choses à améliorer: accompagner les clients dans leur chambre pour donner des explications (l’utilisation de la douche n’est pas toujours facile). Nous avons découvert l’utilisation au fur et à mesure! Ne pas hésiter aussi à ouvrir tous les tiroirs! Nous avons découvert que l’un d’eux cachait une bouilloire et tout le nécessaire à thé à la fin de notre séjour. Dommage effectivement qu’il n’y ait pas de petit déjeuner… même si dans les environs il y a de quoi faire. Notre chambre n’avait pas de vue (fenêtre opaque) et donnait sur un autre immeuble à l’arrière de l’hôtel. Nous n’avons pas été mis au courant à la réservation. Ce sont des éléments d’amélioration mais qui ne remettent pas en cause la qualité de l’hôtel et l’accueil du personnel. Les faits que ce soit un hôtel à petite capacité et sa localisation ont été plus qu’appréciables. Très bon rapport qualité/prix
