Hotel Oumiya

Even though I was late because I had mistaken the check-out time, they allowed me to shower and all the staff were very kind.

It is located on the south side of Kyoto Station, and the fact that it was founded in the 13th year of Kyoho attracted my attention. Relax in a 7.5 tatami mat Japanese-style room. Luckily, there was a futon on the floor. The tatami mats were not rushes and were fuzzy and slightly damaged. There is a closet. There is a yukata, an obi, and a towel inside. There is a veranda, so I went out. There is a slightly narrow bathroom with a toilet, washbasin, and bathtub. There is no washlet. There is a step at the entrance. There is a large public bath on the first floor. There are no lockers in the dressing room, but 20 shelves with baskets. The bathtub was about 1.2m x 3m in size, and the temperature of the water was neither hot nor lukewarm. There were 8 Karang. I took a bath at night and in the morning, but both were single baths. Overall, I cannot deny that the facilities are a little outdated, but they seemed to be well cleaned. Considering the location and the large public bath, it felt cheap.

京都駅まで徒歩圏内なのが、よかったです。また、駐車場は3台分しかないので、早めに行って駐車だけして、観光後のチェックインもOKと教えて下さました。 ホテルの方はとても気さくでした。
