Love richmond hotel! Near to bus stops access to several tourist places. 8mins walk to kyoto station. Free flow ice cream n tea breaks. Free amenities. Surprisingly clean

The room is compact but has enough space to open luggage comfortably. The location is convenient, within walking distance to the JR station and Kyoto Railway Museum. The bathroom is well-designed with a separate wet and dry area. The shower area feels like an onsen-style setup, with a space for washing before soaking in the tub — my son and I enjoyed a bath there both nights. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices. The hotel also provides complimentary items like bath salts and lotions, which was a nice touch. The Kyoto-style atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing. There’s also a popular ramen shop downstairs, perfect for a late-night meal.

Good location with a wide variety of breakfast. 5 mins to Kyoto station. Free Afternoon tea offers ice cream and drinks, happy hours with beers, saki, red/white wine. They are all free!!! Amazing. Staffs are very helpful.

The hotel is beautifully presented with a Japanese indoor atrium garden at the entrance. Staff are always nearby and very helpful. The room was well laid out, clean and thoughtful design for travellers. Room overlooked the atrium garden. Laundry service was excellent. Many 'help yourself' toilwtries in the foyer. Several free activities offered - sake tasting and craft activities. Lots of brochures, maps and information about local activities. Hotel is conveniently located a few minutes walk from Kyoto Station and the bus station. Always plenty to do aeound the area, shrines, markets, shopping, cafes and restaurants. Great experience. Will definitely stay again.

Perfectly located near many attractions and shops. While the hotel has carpeted rooms and requires taking two elevators, everything else exceeded expectations. Beautiful SkyTree views,
