Mitsui Garden Hotel Kyoto Station

The room was very quiet, and the staff were polite and professional. I stayed for five nights, and everything was great except for the occasional encounter with fellow guests talking loudly and dressed inappropriately in the hallway. I will definitely be back again.

After exiting Kyoto Station Central Gate, I first snapped a picture of Kyoto Tower, then turned right and walked straight down the road for about 20 meters. The hotel was directly across the intersection. The transportation is incredibly convenient. Breakfast was decent with a good variety. All the hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! Even though I don't speak English or Japanese, they quickly got me checked in using a translator! The hotel is very clean and offers a peaceful retreat despite being centrally located. Excellent! I used to always stay on the Hachijo-guchi side, but from now on, this will be my go-to hotel!

This hotel is super convenient, right next to Kyoto Station. If you exit Kyoto Station and head right, past the Kyoto Theater, you'll be there in no time. It's a lifesaver for anyone traveling with luggage, making transfers to the Shinkansen, bus, or subway incredibly easy. The room's layout was well-thought-out, and the bedding was wonderfully soft and comfortable. The bathroom facilities were spotless. Even for a standard twin room, it didn't feel cramped at all. Overall, the hotel was really good.

Location: About a 3-5 minute walk from Kyoto Station, which is quite convenient. The entrance is a bit small. Facilities: Our triple room was still quite spacious even with large suitcases. The decor has a distinct Kyoto feel. Downstairs, you can enjoy complimentary coffee and juice. Service: Excellent. The front desk staff mostly speak English, and one of the ladies speaks basic Chinese.

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Kyoto Station, making it super convenient for both buses and JR. The room was small but very clean. There was no real window, just a decorative one, giving the room a really stylish feel overall. The bed and duvet were incredibly comfortable, a huge improvement compared to my experience the previous night at Shanghai Pudong Airport Hotel.
