This guesthouse is quite spacious, with clean and tidy rooms and comfortable beds. The bathroom, though small, is very practical, and both the air conditioning and TV work well. The uncle at the front desk was especially friendly and reassuring to talk to. The environment is quiet, and the window overlooks a residential area of Kyoto, giving it a very local feel. The only downside is that the location is a bit out of the way, so you have to rely on public transportation, which is not very convenient. Overall, it was a good experience, perfect for tourists who want to soak in the local atmosphere. 👍👍

Extremely hygenic and clean, super affordable compared to other options at the time I booked it. The owner was really helpful enabling late check-in, furthermore he helped me with laundry detegrents. Laundry wa extremely affordable as well. Definitely my go-to spot in the future.

Management of hotel really helpful. You need to learn how to go by bus if you want to stay here. Make sure to see bus map first because the train station need quite walk around 800meter.

A clean and comfortable hotel. Bus stops are very close. The receptionist is a good and understanding person. I will choose this hotel again next time I come.

We liked the room. A very pleasant young man greeted us, explained everything, and even helped us move our luggage to our next destination, which was very convenient. There are almost all the amenities (cups, a kettle, toiletries). The location is quite good, with a bus stop nearby. The room is spacious and clean. The area is quiet and peaceful. The popular Gion area is a 30-minute walk away.

A lovely, quiet guesthouse. The room was large and had a balcony. There's a microwave at reception. The room had all the essentials, like a refrigerator and kettle. The nearest metro station was about a 15-20 minute walk away, and there were bus stops nearby. Unfortunately, in our room (410), the mattress on one of the beds was very worn, and upon check-in, the area under the toilet seat was heavily soiled with urine, as it hadn't been cleaned at all. Having to clean that up was rather disgusting, especially considering that check-in is always very late, around 3 pm, and there should have been plenty of time for cleaning. Despite this, we can still recommend the guesthouse.

Easy to find. There's an elevator. The staff is friendly, explained everything, and showed us around. There's a microwave and tea in the common area. The room is bright and has a balcony. The beds are very comfortable and the bedding is nice. It was cool, so we turned the air conditioning on high. Washing and drying are available for an additional fee.

It's a relatively clean and tidy B&B. However, if you check in after 8pm, you must contact the hotel in advance to leave your key, otherwise you may not be able to check in! The bathroom doesn't have a Washlet toilet, but everything else is fine.
