M’s Hotel Kyoto Station Kizuya Reviews

If you decided to stay in this hotel be ready to get “a basement style” room. Because, I suppose, most of their windows rest against the wall of the neighboring building. It means no natural light, no sunlight, always only artificial lighting. But they share photos with normal windows everywhere! If we had known that we would be living like in a basement, we would never have chosen this hotel!!! Also it’s not so near to Kyoto station + you will hear the door sound from other rooms!

The room looks exactly like the photos. It’s very near to kyoto station just 5 mins walk, so it’s easy to travel. The wall is quite thin. You will hear the door sound from other rooms all night🥹

Cheap, comfortable and convenient. Super close to the station however I recommend using coin laundry places instead of their laundry machine. It is both faster and cheaper and our clothe didn’t dry so we had to bring it to other laundry shop.

My first time in a hotel with no staff present. I was a bit suspicious about how everything works with codes only and with no physical keys, but everything went just great!

A good hotel. Rooms are big (normally not in Japan) and the location is good if you don’t mind walking. Interesting places are within 30 min by public transport and at night you can easily walk from the nightlife area to the hotel. Only downside is that the service is a bit weird that they don’t accept luggage you send to them, luckily I had my AirTag in my luggage to find it.

Having room passwords instead of keys is quite convenient for the self travelers.

Hotel is less than 10 mins walk from Kyoto station. Need to perform self check-in and check-out but no issues on that. Room is clean and the bed is very comfortable. Total we stayed 6 nights at a very good rates.

Not so near but walking distance to kyoto station. Self check in system. But you can call the staff for assistance. Room size ✅ spacious than similar type of room in other places.

Location good pretty close to Kyoto station. Hotel is new and room is spacious over my expectations.

Advanced checkin system and the staff is well trained to instruct me to finish the checkin process. The room is large enough to a single traveller. Nice one overall.

Good a general night stay that’s all Location is not as convenient as I think as it takes over 10 mins walk through the train station and when you travel with a few luggage not so easy

Everything is self service, it is very easy, i like it. When i arrived at hotel, got a phone at the entrance, i call the owner 1st, after confirm my identity, he gave me the password to enter and i am allow to leave my luggage there with locker provided. Umbrella also provided to us, we use it at night when raining. Everything is good, facilities is perfect. I am super satisfy with the location also, it is very near to tokyo station, convenient for us to take bus and train. It just need 6minutes walk. Got a washing machine, 2 hours 600yen only.

Small room , location is good.
