The room was spacious and check-in was easy. It's very close to the center of Shijo. Exiting the hotel and turning left, there are many izakayas with a great atmosphere.

The location is great, and sunshine was lovely.The price is very reasonable for this season. Unfortunately, the japanese style rooms were too popular and were fully booked. 'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit Kyoto.

The room was surprisingly spacious. After a small business hotel in Osaka, this one definitely felt much bigger. The hotel itself is clean and well-kept. It's located near a street that can be a bit noisy, but that doesn't matter at all thanks to its excellent location. I reviewed a couple dozen options in the area, and for my dates, this was the best choice in terms of price, quality, and location. Highly recommended.

Very nice hotel with traditional rooms. Toothbrush, cotton balls, razor, and a hairdryer are available in the bathroom. Helpful staff.

The room was so small! No windows! No view! The hallway was incredibly hot, and the room smelled musty! It was awful! The mat on the floor and the wallpaper in the corners were all moldy. The room had no windows and no ventilation! There was only one air conditioner unit blowing directly onto the floor! The worst part was that the air conditioner made a tractor-like noise! ​​Rattling, rattling, rattling! I didn't sleep the entire night! The noise and musty smell kept me awake in the middle of the night! I was completely devastated! The worst day in Tokyo. I wished I'd booked a new hotel that day! It was completely unacceptable!

I was really lucky to get a room of more than 30 square meters in Kyoto at such a price. The room was very clean and had everything it needed.
