Kyoto Plaza Hotel Kyoto Station South

It was very average. The only thing I was thankful for was that I only had to stay for two days, so I could bear with it. The room was very, very small. The price was raised to four figures during the peak season, which I felt was not worth it. Although there was a subway station nearby, you couldn't take this line to popular attractions. The slippers had obviously been worn for a long time and looked very dirty. The bed sheet also had obvious stains. When I returned to the room the next day, except for taking out the garbage, the room was not cleaned at all (maybe I needed to explain it to the front desk, but it was not like the front desk of the Tokyo Hotel would give reminders in this regard). Some windows also faced a small cemetery (maybe each country has different acceptance of such facilities, but from the perspective of Chinese tourists, I was not very comfortable)

The location is based on the Kyoto Station ticket gate, so I had to go out through the west gate rather than the main gate, so it took longer than I thought. It seemed like it took about 14 minutes longer because I had to drag my suitcase, so I guess the location wasn't as good as I thought, but the staff was really, really helpful. You are kind.... I was sick so I asked if you could take me to the hospital, and you were very kind and informed me so I was able to get a good checkup. ㅠㅠ They even provided me with a bowl to heat the porridge for free and showed so much love for humanity. Thanks to you, even though I was sick, my heart was sore. It was warm... and the facilities were clean and nice, except for the hotel room being small!

Haha, the room rates in Kyoto are expensive. The hotel is average.

It takes some time to walk a little further from Kyoto Station. However, it is not worth using the subway.

The service, cleanliness of the hotel, etc. were very good. I recommend using here if it is available lol I thought it was over priced. I would like to use it next time if there is an opportunity.

Went with friends and stayed here for two nights. The room was very clean and the breakfast was delicious. Service was good.

The closest hotel is Kujo Station, which is about a 15 minute walk from Kyoto Station (it will take longer if you have suitcases and other luggage). The facility is new as it is in its third year. There are many private houses here, so you don't see many tourists, but there are restaurants nearby, so you can stay overnight while avoiding the crowds at Kyoto Station. If breakfast is included, there are Japanese and Western options and coffee, but the number and types of items were different from the photos on the website. The staff and cleaning staff were kind and I think it was good overall considering the price.

It was clean and nice. I felt that there were few amenities.

I was surprised at how friendly the staff was.
