The room was a bit small, but the bed was comfortable. The location is central, about a 20-minute walk to various attractions. There are also plenty of dining options nearby, with various restaurants just a 5-minute walk away.

Great stay! The room was clean, comfortable, and the location was very convenient. Also,I forgot my hair straightener after checkout, but the reception quickly helped me find it. Really thankful for their help!

We stayed here for 7 days and 6 nights. It's a lovely hotel and, importantly, it's close to tourist attractions. There was no noise disturbance at all.

All are great, until the day we checkout, the lady bring a ton of dirty tower each floors, causing the underarm smell spreading out from 1F to guest room, we should have better hygiene to the air indoor. Thank you

We checked in just as there was a celebration right outside the hotel, so the location was really lively! For the first two days, the heating system was broken, and the room never warmed up. We kept waking up from the cold. After we reported it to the hotel, they immediately handled it and moved us to a different room, which was much warmer. The hotel staff's attitude was great in resolving the issue. It's close to attractions, and the bathroom has a large tub. Highly recommend!

This is a very small hotel located at the edge of Gion, 2 km from Kyoto station. There are just less than 20 rooms, very quiet. The room I stayed is not big but surprisingly bigger than most of hotels I have stayed in Japan. I stayed 2 nights, no cleaning service provided. Separate toilet and bathroom and wash basin. There are many convenient store around 500 meters. Very cozy and convenient.

It is a very nice hotel, however the accomodation vs the price can be tricky. The room is spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The bed covers are a little bit short though. The heat worked perfectly and the water temperature was good. The walls might be better with new painting as they have a lot of marks. The hotel provides towels, razors ,q tips, toothbrush and a cone.

The hotel's location is convenient, close to the station, making it easy to walk to nearby attractions. Taking a taxi from Kyoto Station is also inexpensive. Overall, the room was clean! The room size isn't big, and the check-in time being only until 9 PM, not 24 hours, was a minor inconvenience. However, if you keep the time in mind, it's not a big issue!

Excellent location, close to the Gion and Higashiyama districts' attractions – Kiyomizu-dera Temple is just a 20-minute walk away. The room was quite large for Japan, but not very well laid out: a long, narrow corridor, a huge shower, and a separate toilet for some reason. As a result, it was impossible to even open one suitcase in the 20 sq. m. space.

You can't tell from the pictures, but there *is* a bathroom, don't worry :'). The location is perfect, not too far from the city center and close to Kyoto's main attractions. The staff are kind and are learning English for better understanding and communication! I highly recommend it!

The hotel was a great choice for my five-day stay. It had everything I needed and is very well located in Gion, which made exploring the area easy and enjoyable. But what truly stood out was the service. I arrived extremely tired and jet-lagged after traveling from Tokyo, and I was warmly welcomed and assisted at check-in by Khadra Ramila and Saroj. They were both professional, kind, and genuinely helpful, and I really appreciated the early check-in after a long journey. I especially want to thank Khadra Ramila — her calm, friendly attitude and attentiveness made a big difference at the start of my stay. I was also very impressed by both of their excellent English. I wasn’t aware that many hotel staff in Japan do not speak fluent English, so this made everything much easier. Overall, a lovely stay with wonderful hospitality. I truly appreciated the care and service provided — thank you again.

Despite being in such a great location in Gion, the price was very reasonable! The room size was also perfectly sufficient for two people.
