RESI STAY HOTEL SUN CHLORELLA

I don’t usually give bad reviews for hotel, you can check my Google reviews, mostly are 4-5 stars. This hotel’s location a bit away from man Kyoto centre at 7th bridge. Bus station just walking distance but if you come with heavy luggage, still need to take uber/DiDi from Kyoto station if you arrive Kyoto city by train . I actually booked a two full bed quadruple room for 5 nights but upon arrival was given a family room with one double bed. Since we are family with 4 adults and the hotel confirmation letter clearly stated two full beds so I tried to talk to the receptionist called Amar Singh. He just not interested to help and said the booking by trip.com via Rakuten is just family room. I contacted trip.com customer service and try to ask the price difference between the quadruple room and family room. He just refused to even let me know the price difference and keep saying that the quadruple room is not available, even I willing to change room in between, he said that cleaning fees will be applied if I keep changing the room. When I ask about the cleaning fees again he refused to respond. First time I encountered such bad hotel receptionist in my years of travel. Is a shame to Resi Stay’s name. Please note also there is no daily house keeping in this hotel even you stay 5 nights, is this hotel so under staffed??

Great place, able to fit a family of 5 adukts with ease. Well equiped with amenities like washing machine, stove, pots and pans, a bathroom dryer as such. Had great and well comforted nights over the stay. It’s walking distance from the Umenokoji Park as well as the Kyoto aquarium.

Loved our stay there, the check- in process however is a bit unusual which you don’t do it in the hotel lobby but in the train station.

HIGHLY Recommended, never regret and had a excellent experience. First easy access to check in reception, just next to Kyoto Station (＜5mins walk). Friendly customer service, not language barrier and able to communicate. Check-in was fast (need registered to their portal prior to arrival) and instructions to Resi stay was clear and given in hard copy. Provided luggages deposit for us to walk around the area before we check-in to the stay. Nearby alot for eateries and after lunch walked back to reception. Shuttle service to the stay were provided as well. The room was spacious, clean and all equipment are provided within the room. Great stay located at a great location, it's near (14mins walk/7min taxi) to kyoto station. There are 3x convenient store nearby, walking distance to Kyoto Aquarium and 20m to bus stop to many locations. Definitely coming back again, happy stay🤗

Overall great place to stay! Some area can be improved such as check in as well as transport information to go to imperial palace Kyoto.

The room is exceptionally big and clean. I’m a group of 3 adults and 2 kids. This room has everything that you need. Washing machine and detergent are available for our daily laundry. The best thing is they have drying mode for the bathroom. You can hang your clothes in the bathroom overnight and all your clothes are dried up the next morning 👍🏻 however, the washing machine did not work properly. I keep stopping by itself whenever it spins even though I put only 2 or 3 pcs of clothes in. Kyoto aquarium bus stops are just downstairs and nearby which can lead you easily to Kyoto Station in just few stops to take train around Kyoto.
