Excellent location. Helpful staff, regardless of languages spoken. Small room and uncomfortable mattress. Otherwise outstanding.

The ladies at the lobby were extremely kind. They went above and behind explaining how to get to our destination until we understood in English for us. The breakfast at the cafeteria was okay and I liked the selections for the drinks too. The room was very clean and perfect for our family!

Hotel is 5 mins walk from the train station and 15 mins walk to Kawaramuchi-dori street. It is also 3 stops away from Kyoto station so to me, good location. There is 7-eleven and Lawson nearby too so you can grab breakfast from there. The room is quite big for hotel in Kyoto. Clean and comfortable. You have to give your key at the counter when you leave the hotel each time. I have no issue with that because it takes off the worry of losing your keys. Staffs are friendly. The only comment I would say is the hallway lights are a bit dim so it gives off this horror vibes. But after awhile you just get used to it. The laundry is not within hotel so if you are looking to wash your clothes, you have to wash it elsewhere. I would come back to this hotel if I am in Kyoto.

Hotel was in a good location, staff was friendly and hotel was always clean. The location was good for my Itinerary, I didn’t have to go as far.

The location is convenient, close to CIEE/subway and bus stations, and only a ten-minute walk to the shopping street. The counter clerk was polite Although the hotel facilities are a bit old, door keys are still used, and you have to hand in the key counter to enter and exit the hotel, but the room is spacious and clean, and it is worth staying.

I often use this hotel when I travel to Kyoto. It's conveniently located for sightseeing and the accommodation fee is reasonable, so unless there is vacancy, there is no reason to stay at another hotel. It is clean and the staff are polite. I'll stop here because if I praise it too much, it will become too popular and there will be no vacancies.

As the stay overlapped with a school trip, I requested a quiet room, and they took that into consideration. The building was old, but it was clean and I was able to move around smoothly. It was nice and relaxing.

Even though it was Golden Week, we were able to stay cheaply for about 21,000 yen for two people in a semi-double room with breakfast included. The bath, toilet, and towels were clean and well organized. Also, despite being easily accessible from the subway, we were able to sleep quietly at night.

I am satisfied with the location and convenient transportation. I would like to use it again.

The room was old and a bit dusty. However, it was big enough for two people! I got a corner room on the top floor, but the only downside was that the window couldn't be opened.

The hotel front desk was warm and welcoming, and answered questions clearly and attentively. Neon service has always been people-oriented and is trustworthy! Looking at the map, the hotel is 500 meters away from Honnoji Temple, but I missed it that day. I went to Honnoji Temple the next morning. Fortunately, there was a Dharma Assembly in the afternoon of that day. Unfortunately, I was delayed by the schedule of the Imperial Palace at the beginning, and only participated in the final Dharma Assembly activities.

Although it was old, the room condition was good. The bathroom was clean, as if it had been remodeled. It was also close to the subway station, which was nice.
