Rinn Kiyomizu Gojo Machiya

Excellent! We stayed for three days with elderly relatives and children. The kids especially loved the tatami mats and the elderly person's bed. The guesthouse is very close to famous attractions; Shijo and Kiyomizu-dera Temple are within walking distance. Check-in is near Kyoto Station. The guesthouse provides toothbrushes, combs, cotton swabs, and razors. If you need facial cleanser, lotion, laundry detergent, etc., remember to get some at the check-in counter. The kitchen has a microwave, kettle, and electric stove, as well as two frying pans (one large and one small) for simple food heating. Plates and bowls are also provided, which is very convenient. The TV requires Amazon Prime login. The only drawback is that the trash can is too small; it fills up after just a few bottles of drinks.

It's a very comfortable and Japanese-style house, very clean, and great for staying with friends. They offer both regular beds and tatami mats. The kitchen is fully equipped. It's very conveniently located near attractions and the subway station, and the surrounding area is quiet. Ideal for families or groups of friends traveling together.
