Highly recommended. 1. The breakfasts are amazing. Looked forward to it every morning during the trip. 2. The room we booked includes 2 beds and 2 futons, I like that combination, suitable for the elderly who may have problems sleeping on the floor. My kids also said the futon is super comfy. 3. The location is very convenient too, within walking distance to many places of interest. 4. If you prefer to have no room service during the stay, you can also opt out of room service, and the hotel will gift you a box of cookies as a replacement for that option. I like that. 5. We booked a Kaiseiki dinner one day in advance during our stay, a bit expensive, but the experience was amazing, and we had the entire restaurant for ourselves for that dinner. But, I won't recommend booking all dinners (with the room) though, there are a lot of good meal options around the area. So definitely should explore more; must try more options in Gion as there are many amazing Japanese places within walking distance. Overall a really good experience. Thank you.

Very good experience! At first, I chose the Hana Ryokan to experience the Japanese tradition, and it didn't disappoint. The tatami room is large and clean, the bedding is very comfortable, and the sleep is very comfortable. Although it is winter, the air conditioning in the room is great, and you won't feel cold sleeping directly on the tatami. The toilet and shower are separate, both are very clean, and the Japanese-style bathroom is also unique. There is plenty of hot water, but it took a little time to figure out the shower when I debugged it at the beginning. The location of the hotel is very good. It takes only three minutes to walk to Yasaka Shrine, less than 20 minutes to walk to the main street of Kawaramachi, and about 20 minutes to Kiyomizu Temple. There are a lot of food and shopping on the way, which will not make people feel tired of rushing. It is just that eating and shopping will indefinitely extend the time to the destination haha. Kyoto is beautiful. I was very happy every day in Kyoto. After the daytime tour experience, returning to the hotel is a new enjoyment. The location is first-rate, very close to Yasaka, Shimizu and other places, and you can learn more about geisha, 30 meters away from the hotel in the alley on the side. It was beyond expectation. It was great because we stayed in the Huale Suite with 2 adults and 1 child. It was spacious enough. The hotel service was good. It was very close to Kiyomizu Temple and it only took more than 10 minutes to walk. There were beautiful scenery along the way.

A hotel with an excellent location, just a stone's throw away from Kodaiji Entokuin Temple Ninnizaka to the south, and only a few minutes' walk from Shijo Street to the north. The key is that the hotel and Oda Nobunaga live next to each other, really only separated by a wall.

The advantage is that it is close to the scenic spot. Go downhill and turn right to Yasaka Shrine. But the surrounding environment is a bit disappointing. There is no scenery outside the window. The tatami room also depends on the person. If there are elderly people, it is not recommended. The food is average. There are many famous restaurants around, but the food is not special.

I took my mom with me, and the location was good, the room was spacious, the facilities were clean, and it was really nice. The bathroom has a seating area so it's comfortable to use while sitting, and the bathtub is great for a half-body bath. The service was very friendly, and I especially remember eating a delicious breakfast while wearing a yukata. Recommended 👍

The room was terrible. It didn't match the description. They asked me to pay more. I couldn't get a refund at all. The attitude of the store was very bad. I decided to change hotels.
