Kyoto Brighton Hotel

You need to take a shuttle bus from the subway station, which runs approximately every 20 minutes. Please read the hotel description carefully for the exact pick-up location. The first time I took it, I felt a bit lost, but once I got used to it, it was quite convenient. The driver's service attitude was excellent. The hotel is located near a residential area and a school, making it very quiet. The triple room was spacious and very comfortable. Downstairs, there are many different types of restaurants to choose from, and the food was decent. There are also several good izakayas and sushi restaurants nearby that are well worth a visit. The only inconvenience with these small Kyoto establishments is that most only accept cash, so be sure to bring plenty before you go.

Traveling with family, I saw the reviews and booked without hesitation. It truly didn't disappoint! We tried both breakfast restaurants, and each had its own unique charm – both are definitely worth it. The only minor drawback was that the Japanese restaurant offered free kids' meals and extra complimentary sets for children, while the European restaurant insisted on charging half price. It's not a big deal, but it did leave a slight sour taste. Overall, it was great, and we'd stay here again next time.
