Hotel New Hankyu Kyoto

The hotel's location is good, but it's definitely a bit old. The overall experience wasn't as good as hotels in the same price range in Osaka. Its main advantage is its value for money. The hotel is located right by the train station, making it convenient for taking the subway, bus, or train.

The room was comfortable and clean, with complete facilities. The bathtub was larger than those in other Japanese hotels, and it was very close to both the train station and subway station, making travel convenient. There's also a supermarket nearby.

Traveling with family, we booked two rooms. I'm starting to wonder if Ctrip always puts you at the end of the hall? This isn't the first time it's happened. We weren't disturbed, and trash was collected every two days. The location is quite convenient though.

The hotel's location is fantastic, right across the street from Kyoto Station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The lobby sign says they'll be closing for renovations in early 2027. It's super easy to get to anywhere in Kyoto from here, and Osaka is just a 30-minute ride away.

I stayed at this hotel at the end of July, during the hottest time of the year. The location is excellent, making it very convenient for getting around, shopping, and dining. The only downside was the hot weather. The central air conditioning wasn't strong enough, so the room temperature was a bit too high.

Traveling to Kyoto, Japan with my child during the summer holidays, we chose this hotel for its convenient access to the Shinkansen. It's indeed very close, just across the road from Kyoto Station. When we arrived, it was still a bit before check-in time. Even though it was less than an hour, they wouldn't let us check in, so we had to store our luggage. The hotel facilities are a bit old, but the hygiene is acceptable. Overall, its main advantage is its location. It's okay.
