Can’t tell how good is this hotel. I stayed for 3 nights with a comfortable experience. There’s a free coffee machine near the stage with a lot of choices like matcha.

Excellent location, room, and service. The toilet was in a separate room, which is very convenient for families. There were many complimentary amenities we didn’t get a chance to try, but as a tea enthusiast, I especially appreciated the in-room tea set with Ippodo Gyokuro and a kettle with temperature instructions based on tea type — a fun highlight of my stay.

Excellent hotel in the heart of Kyoto! Beautiful building, wonderful interior, the hotel has everything for a comfortable stay: vending machines, iron, hair dryer, the rooms are clean, beautiful, cozy. Excellent cosmetics, pajamas, smart toilets. We rested with a group of 7 people in different rooms and in all rooms there was enough space to open all the suitcases and pack your things. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help. The hotel is very close to the subway, buses, attractions and to all shops and restaurants. I recommend with all my heart and want to return to your hotel! Very good tasty breakfasts! Also included in the price of the hotel is unlimited coffee and matcha from the machine and 1 glass of sake daily! Thank you very much!

The hotel location and condition were good however I was expecting a bigger room. The actual room that we got was not the same as in the picture.

No safe in the room for storing passport. No coffee (there is a free coffee machine in the lobby but im the morning it means you have to go there for coffee which is inconvenient). Toilet and shower are separate, it just seems like an inefficient waste of space and poorly designed. Windows are frosted. My room was located next to the laundry so i'm not sure if it was coming from there or outside but there was a pretty much constant vibration noise. No bottled water (tap water is drinkable). Excellent location and no road noise.

Its totally functional, the hotel is old and not renewed -just their lobby and the shell of it- but if you stay because of an early flight it works. Just dont expect much. Clean and useful - thats all.
