Perfect location as not in the hive of the centre but the city is walkable. Metro is very close and there is a shuttle bus to Kyoto station. Breakfast was great, especially the Japanese breakfast! Would definitely stay again!

Very beautiful hotel, it’s located at heart of old city, you can feel Japan there walking around the hotel! Can walk to many good places or take free shuttle bus (leaving every hour at h:55 min) to Kyoto station for visit even more good places. Incredible breakfast restaurant!!! Bad side is there is no big bowl or cups for make some iced coffee or pour a cap of hot drip coffee neither (how I suppose to make my coffee in the room?) even they gift it for free every day, also there is no microwave.

Good place to stay in Kyoto. Peaceful and quiet hotel. Will be great if shuttle service is more frequent.

I loved the location, it was nice & quiet. but also near some of the places to visit in Kyoto. I liked walking to the Heian Shrine, Yasaka Shrine, Kodaiji, and Kawaramachi. There's also several buses and trains within a few minutes walk from the hotel. Overall I loved the hotel's and the neighborhood's peaceful vibe, and easy access to historical sites & shopping areas in Kyoto.

Lovely hotel for travelers and tourists - they have a temple behind the hotel and a mini garden. Also walkable distance to continents stores and restaurants and the hotel is soooo fancy! I highly recommend to bring your family too, will definitely enjoy the service and vibe of Kyoto.

Awesome hotel, super clean, comfortable and modern. Good location, easy access to a lot of temples and short walk to subway. Attentive staff and awesome Japanese breakfast buffet. Would definitely recommend.

Room is small but warm and cozy. Details with coffee and tea in the room are appreciated. I requested and got a quiet room 👍. Shuttle bus was useful. The location although not most convenient to go shopping, was perfect for me. It was great to explore the surrounding neighborhood and close to the museums. Service was wonderful.

The room has a substantial size, bigger than the usual Japanese hotel, the design is great. The hotel opened in 2022 so everything is new, it has shuttle bus service to and from Kyoto Station 京都駅 every hour which came in quite handy as we spent some time shopping there. You can check the timetable on the hotel’s website. The location is a bit far from the central Kyoto area but there is a lot of enjoyable historic sites surrounding the hotel and the area is quite calm and tranquil. The view from our room looks towards the inner garden of the hotel which is quite nice. There is a mountain at the background as well to add to the natural vibe. Staffs had the usual Japanese mentality, very welcoming and pleasant. There is a subway station near the hotel, about 3-5 minutes walk, but we never got to use it as the convenience of taxi got us every time. Overall a very pleasant stay.
