It is a nice and convenient hotel. Just besides all the transportation mode. Hotel breakfast is nice.

Extremely satisfied! No need to worry about rain at Kyoto Station, and it's convenient to get anywhere. Isetan department store and various shops are all within the station. The room facilities are very well-maintained, quiet, and have great blackout curtains. The air conditioning is silent. I'm very happy with my stay.

The location is excellent, right by JR Kyoto Station, next to Kyoto Airport and Isetan, plus various luxury brand stores. Since it was a long weekend (Silver Week) and I only booked this place the day before departure, it was ridiculously expensive – my wallet cried, haha! However, my child loved being able to watch the Shinkansen trains arriving and departing from our room. The brightly lit areas are the hotel corridors; the entire hotel is very large with many rooms. The service was good; check-in and luggage storage were both very smooth.

Conveniently located, spacious rooms, complete dining facilities, good service, but average room cleaning. We chose this hotel located within Kyoto Station for our leisure trip to Kyoto. Overall, the experience was quite good. The room was quite large, and despite facing the train station, the sound insulation was excellent; we could barely hear the sound of vehicles. The daily newspaper delivery was a nice traditional service. For breakfast, there's a buffet restaurant on the 2nd floor and a Japanese set meal on the 3rd floor. We stayed for 3 nights and tried both, each with its unique characteristics. The Japanese breakfast didn't have a huge variety of dishes, but there were three options for rice, and the ritual of cooking the rice on-site was very impressive. Room cleaning was a bit subpar. There were obvious stains on the carpet, and I'm not sure if they couldn't be cleaned or for what reason (Picture 2), but it was unpleasant to look at. A bottle cap left by the previous guest was also not cleaned up (Picture 3), which is unacceptable. When checking out, after paying the taxes, the front desk attendant handed the bill directly to us without an envelope, which felt unprofessional and unfriendly.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Granvia Kyoto as the room was very clean and spacious. The staff are very polite and helpful which made us feel very welcome. Love the location too as it’s just beside the Kyoto train station and it’s so much easier for us to travel to other places. Will definitely come back and stay here next time. Good hotel to stay in. It's located just above the main Kyoto train. It's also just across the road to the Kyoto Tower, one of the famous attractions. The hotel is clean, quite spacious with 2 single beds and some extra space. Facilities are Good and complete toiletries like toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, soap, shampoo, etc. Bed is comfortable and can sleep well. Breakfast food are labelled clearly as vegan, vegetarian, etc. There're lots of shops and eateries too around the hotel area. I would stay here again whenever I'm visiting Kyoto.

The location is unbeatable, right on top of JR Kyoto Station! Truly zero distance. Isetan is right next door, connected by a skybridge, so you can eat, drink, and shop without ever leaving the building. The breakfast was exquisite and abundant, and they even had matcha ice cream!

I really have to commend this hotel. The photo spots are excellent, allowing you to capture the Kyoto Tower perfectly. You can access all sorts of transportation right downstairs, and shopping is incredibly convenient too.

The room was noisy, mainly due to the subway. I was on the 11th floor, and the rattling sound of the subway passing over the tracks in the morning was very noticeable. The hotel charged for a child not occupying a bed, plus a city tax for an additional person, totaling 3700 JPY.

It was extremely hot during our stay in Kyoto. Fortunately, the hotel is located right next to Kyoto Station, which made getting around much easier and helped us save energy in the intense heat. We chose to pay extra for larger rooms, and they were spacious and comfortable. Since we had a late evening flight, we paid around JP¥14,800 to extend one room until 6:00 pm for a late check-out. While it was convenient, we felt JP¥14,800 was quite expensive for just a few extra hours. One thing we found surprising was that hotel guests still had to pay extra JP ¥1,000 per person to use the swimming pool. We thought this was rather unusual for a hotel of this standard.

The location is unbeatable, right inside Kyoto Station. However, with dozens of rooms on one floor, it's a real leg workout to navigate around.

A great, lesser-known five-star hotel. It's super convenient: after arriving at Kansai Airport, take the JR Kyoto Line directly to Kyoto Station. Exit towards the Central Gate, and the hotel is right on the second floor, accessible via the escalator on your right.

The location is super convenient, right above Kyoto Station. It's a 3-minute walk to the bullet train station. The breakfast spread is fantastic, and there's a large duty-free shop just 200 meters away, making shopping incredibly easy.

The room was spacious, bright, and cozy, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The hotel's location is super convenient, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. It's the perfect hotel for both travel and business trips.
