I choose this hotel because its in the train station and beside metro subway and in front local bus and taxi area for good transportation. Lots food area 😋 Kyoto to osaka rapid train 580 yen about 30 mins travel time . No need for the bullet train save your money. I used jr railpass last year a waste of money . 15 mins travel time thats differences. Get the jr railway pass if your doing a lot of long travel for bullet train and work it out if you need to travel alot. I hope this info will help you out on your travels . Cherrs

Amazing stay! Super friendly staff, Tippy was especially helpful. Very ethnically diverse staff with good English. Breakfast was superb. Half buffet style, beautifully served unlimited main courses with lots of varieties to choose from. The bar has an amazing ambient. Everything is clean and tidy, modern and stylish. Location of the hotel is excellent. It is just right by Kyoto station, making it extremely easy and convenient to not only visit all the major sites but also to travel interstate via the Shinkansen. Hotel is modern Japanese theme is absolutely stunning both from the exterior and interior. The hotel room is also very luxurious (and big by Japanese standards), with a beautiful spa-themed bathroom that is a joy to come back to after all the exploring. For breakfast, you get a choice of either Japanese (kaiseke style) or western/intercontinental. Both choices were delicious (but If I had to pick only one, I’d go for the Japanese one). Gym was also very decently equipped and there is a spa/onsen within the hotel. Overall, I would return here again for another stay when I’m back in Kyoto! ❤️

Lovely house in central Kyoto, easy and convenient to get around to other parts of the city by bus or train. Very clean and atmospheric, floor heating, ACs, water temperature control. Mind you this is a traditional house so taller people beware, you are going to have to practice some ducking. The nearby environment was very lovely and quiet with some caffès, food places and shops all within 10-20 mins walking distance. Definitely recommend this place and other properties under the same name if you prefer this kind of stay to a traditional hotel.

Very good hotel! The overall feeling is great! Under the hotel is a cafe that I opened, and the food inside is super delicious! We ate Italian food made by their Italian chef that night, it was not too good! The next morning, I didn't catch up with breakfast because I got up late, but I had lunch in the cafe. The hamburger was so delicious! ! The portion is quite large, but I finished it by myself! ! ! The location is also great, just near Kyoto Station, very convenient. Super super super recommended! ! !

I used it for family trips. At first, I was looking for a large communal bath, so I could sleep. However, the hot springs in the large communal bath were good and the food was very good. Authentic Kyoto cuisine came out and it was better than the food I ate outside (laughs) The customer service was kind and perfect. The reason I cut one star is the view from the window ... This is the only complaint. I would like to repeat it if I have the opportunity.

Stayed here for 6 nights. Staff fantastic, room modern with all usual Japanese up to date bathroom facilities. Just a 6 min walk from Kyoto central station so access to all other areas in Kyoto either by train, subway or bus very easy. Free extras were the afternoon tea, happy hour drinks and evening supper - rice with sauce and nibbles. A couple of the major Buddhist temples 5 ,10 and 20 mins walk also the Japanese railway museum. Loads of food choices at and around the station. Very clean and affordable.

This hotel was in a really great location, right beside the main Kyoto train station. The room was very spacious and had a nice view of the Kyoto station so you could see the shinkansen trains come in. The only drawback is that at night you could hear the vehicles outside. I would definitely stay here again.

It is preferred to be close to Kyoto station. It is very convenient for JR travel and bus sightseeing. There are many convenience stores and snack restaurants in the surrounding area, so travel needs can be met at one stop. Only the room is a bit smaller, but in Kyoto room size is not necessary, convenience is more important.

I stayed for one night and felt pretty good. The sanitary environment in the hotel was okay. In Japan, toothbrushes and everything are left for self-pickup on the first floor. I forgot them when I went upstairs, so I went back down again. Electronic screens are used for check-in and check-out. There was guidance from the front desk staff when checking in. However, when I checked out, I didn’t see the staff on duty so I operated the screen to check out by myself. Because there was no staff watching, I felt a little uneasy. Sorry, but the operation is actually very simple

It seems that there are many foreigners who bring back the facilities in the room, and it was inconvenient because there was no pot in the room. Therefore, of course there is no tea or coffee. There are toothbrushes, disposable slippers and recesses. There are many outlets, but there is no USB port. There is a refrigerator. Also, outside the window is the wall of the next building immediately and there is a feeling of blockage. It is said that the next door is AEON MALL, but since it is a room that only sleeps, it is too far from the station as a room to go back to sleep at the time when the AEON MALL is closed. It's not so far away from the distance, but I feel far away because there is no store on the way.

Very pleasant hotel experience: after registration, there is a driver to pick up and drop off to a quiet house, the room is Japanese style. The most appreciated is the fully equipped kitchen and bathroom (there is a small green garden outside the window).

In the end, I and the lady used translation software to solve the problem.
