Auberge Azabu

Kawaramachi Kyoto|0.13km from Toko Toko
Overview: Bistro auberge in Shimogyo Ward, Kyoto City, where you can bring your indoor dog. You can enjoy delicious French home cooking indoors with your dog. Auberge Azabu is a bistro auberge located near Gojo Station in Shimogyo Ward, Kyoto City. As for the atmosphere of the shop, it is a shop that combines the atmosphere of an old Japanese-style house in Kyoto with a modern Western-style atmosphere in France. The owner is not only a patissier boulanger with 30 years of experience in France, but also has a Japanese-style teppanyaki restaurant in the 6th arrondis*****t of Paris. Although it is a dog-friendly situation, it is possible to bring indoors. As for accommodation, there are rooms where you can stay with your dog. In that case, you must comply with the terms. In addition, even when using only meals, it is essential to be quiet as in the rules at the time of accommodation. It was a Saturday night in early January 2022 when I visited. This time, I asked for the B course (8400 yen) when making a reservation. The menu consisted of three types of amuse platter, smoked salmon open sandwich, botan shrimp mikyu and bisque, the main dish was Norwegian king salmon gratin and venison from Wakayama prefecture baked in a pie wrap, and the dessert was Mont Blanc-style. For drinks, I ordered a glass of wine to go with the meal. Shirokuman doesn't usually eat French cuisine, but I was able to spend a satisfying time with delicious dishes that were meticulously prepared from start to finish. Especially good was the venison pie wrap and the post-meal cake. The venison had no odor and was soft, yet had a strong meaty flavor. The cake was not only firm and sweet, but the softness was very good for dessert timing. If I had the chance, I would like to stay at this auberge and taste the food. If you want to enjoy delicious French home cooking with your dog in Kyoto, this restaurant is highly recommended. Of course, I think that those who do not have a dog can enjoy it enough.

We receive many tour groups There were so many people at breakfast. The room as a whole is like this. Very small. There is a large bath, but there are always many people. If you have a lot of luggage, you may consider staying closer to the subway. This hotel is a bit far from the platform.

Accommodation that only sleeps for users who want to save accommodation costs. Facilities / rooms are new, clean and clean. The room is large enough to have a single bed (thick mattress). There is no TV, toilet, wash basin, shower booth and toilet are shared. Bed making, garbage disposal, self-service, amenities are only toothbrushes. It is a short walk from Gojo Subway Station, so it is easy to access and suitable for sightseeing. Considering the service side, I think the cospa is bad.

Exceptional for a budget hotel! 3min walk to city metro and close to bus stops, and there’s a medium size convenient store nearby. Staffs are polite and easy to communicate with. Room is very clean with separated bath and toilet area. I would say it’s nicely arranged and in reasonable size. The Tatami design is also a big highlight. Only drawback is sometimes you can hear the roadway noise if your room is facing the main road. I would advice people who mind that to request room in the other side of hallway. Also if you stay here for consecutive nights, be aware that they only do eco cleaning in most of the days (not even vacuuming the floor). But I guess it’s acceptable after considering the price.

”Sequence KYOTO GOJO” is a convenient location within 3 minutes walk from Gojo Station and walking distance to Kawaramachi. The hotel was stylish and fashionable, and the rooms were arranged in monotony. 2 The variety of large baths was able to enjoy and refresh both daily. The rock bath and steam sauna were comfortable and the non-life was tasted with a comfortable BGM. It is good to check in at 17 o'clock but out at 14 o'clock, and you can enjoy hotel life without worrying about time. In the restaurant ”THE TASTE” on the 1 floor, guests can eat free until 7:00 ~ 14:00 (L.O. 13:30). It was available for breakfast and lunch and was good value for money. Four kinds of sandwiches, salads, soft creams, made from Miyama milk, and homemade lemonade are ordered with QR code in the seat. I liked the sandwich, soft cream and lemonade. Half buffet has few types, but none of them were very delicious, such as drink soup cake fruit. It was very good, so I would like to stay with breakfast next time.
