The staff were welcoming, I arrived VERY early and was expecting to be able to leave my bag for several hours whilst I had a look around the town but was told it would only take an hour. Lovely room with a nice view of the harbour and pool area. The bed was comfortable and breakfast was good.

Very nice hotel. Lovely room overlooking the pool and harbour. Breakfast was good with great coffee. Staff were very nice. Anna on dining duties and a special mention for Lefteris the bar Manager. Excellent customer service and a really nice guy. Pool area is lovely and the town is fab. Nice tavernas/restaurants, reasonably priced not touristy at all. Hired a car to get about. Loved it. The old town by the castle has some lovely eating places and a great cocktail bar to watch the sunset. Will I return? I hope so.

We have been to many places on the Greek mainland and many islands. We always try to visit somewhere that is still hanging on to tradition. The hotel is in a quiet street. It is everything others have said about its cleanliness (a very important requirement for us). The staff are all helpful, cheerful and accommodating. Rooms are comfortable with plentiful hot water for showers. Reception staff are extremely helpful when ordering a taxi and ensuring the driver knows what time you wish to return. Breakfast is Greek, plenty of choice and plenty of food, plenty of good coffee, nothing runs out whatever time you get there, something I've seen happen in other hotels. We are in our 70's and almost daily walked into the nearby town, while uphill it is not onerous. There are numerous bars, tavernas and supermarkets. We ate out every night, which is what we like to do. Having previously driven around the area we did not feel the need to hire a car this time. We visited the old town, 30 minutes walk away, or apprx. 6 euros one way by taxi. It has some wonderful old buildings and cobbled roads. While the castle is the obvious place to visit and take in the views, the old mill is worth a visit too. It has been restored from total ruin and has the most wonderful 'up market' cafe serving traditional cakes and pastries with a lovely outside space among citrus trees. We would certainly stay here again and would recommend this quiet, comfortable, welcoming hotel.

Have just returned from a two-week holiday with Jet2, staying at the Kyparissia Beach Hotel and we have had a fabulous time, thanks in no small measure to the quality service from Nikolaos and his team. As others have mentioned, Lefteris the bar manager is superb and deserves a special mention. The pool is excellent and forms the hub of the hotel. Freshly cleaned every morning, the water is lovely for swimming and at 12m in length, you can get some good exercise. There are plenty of loungers, places to sit either in sun or shade and the bar is always open. You can get coffees, snacks and drinks, all at very good prices. From 5:00pm until late, you can get a full meal and just over the lane is Rementzo's fish taverna if you prefer a meal at lunch time. The rooms are large and have been renovated to a good standard. The bed was huge and very comfy, we slept well. The bathroom was also large and had plenty of hot water at all times of day. Airconditioning is provided an works well, but only when the windo is closed. Our top floor room was inland facing and got very hot. I noticed that many rooms on the top floor had reflective sheeting on the roof to reduce the effect of the sun. Perhaps the rooms on the lower floor and overlooking the pool will be a little cooler. Another reason the room was hot was die to the fridge, which was pumping heat into the room. There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, so you could always bring a travel kettle if you want to make your own. At breakfast there was always plenty of decent coffee, along with a kettle on the bar top so that you good make a good cup of tea. The breakfast was adequate, with a good range to choose from. The hot selection, however was rather limited, although it was different every day, and rarely more that luke-warm after 8:00am. Most of all, the wonderful hospiality, amazing generosity and truly Greek Filitimo of the Konstantopoulos family will never be forgotten. Highly recommended.

Had a lovely stay at this hotel. Very friendly helpful staff and hotel owner. Bit of a walk to restaurants with uneven pathways but the food in the hotel was very nice. Patio area and pool very clean and attractive. Wouldn't hesitate to go back

This is a small family run hotel, with approx 24 rooms. Rooms are well maintained, clean and bathrooms are good with a vey good shower, and beds/towels were sorted daily. Breakfast is in line with the size of the hotel ; you won't get full english here, but a selection of pastries, yoghurts, cereals, boiled eggs, cold meats, breads and cheese. (There was scrambled eggs and hot dog sausages occasionally but was always cold ). Pool area is nice and is on a raised terrace overlooking the harbour (not much of a shallow end though).. There were a couple of minor issues that the rep quickly resolved with the owner : the swimming pool being out of use in the afternoons (due to noise disturbing siestas) and there not being enough sunbeds and some people reserving them then leaving the hotel for hours. To give credit, the owner quickly resolved these. (Personally, we never had an issue getting a sunbed ). The clientele were an even mix of British, German & Greek while we were there. A note about the area: The hotel is located right by the harbour, which unlike most Greek harbours, is not especially quaint and there's not much going on. It's surrounded by wasteland (some of which is used to store boats) and the surrounding area is past it's prime, as it looked like it once has numerous shops and restaurants, all of which have shut except one restaurant (next door, nice outdoor eating area) and a grill house that was always empty. The whole area looks a bit tired and has seen better days (I suspect it was once popular with Greek tourists which has declined). That being said, there is a nice beach with a lovely modern bar/restaurant about 10 minutes walk away, perfect to view the sunset over the sea. Higher up there is a fish restaurant with great views. Kyparissia town itself is about 10 min walk away (uphill) with a nice square and lots of bars, cafes, shops and restaurants (approx 4 euros by taxi) . The old town and castle are a further 15 min walk (about 5-6 euros by taxi from hotel) and worth a visit as the best restaurants are up there. So to summarise: If you prefer a smaller, quieter, family run hotel, and are happy to walk a bit, or hire a car and explore, then this hotel might suit you. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone who isn't reasonably fit/healthy, or for anyone with kids. Positives: -Rooms are good, modern & clean. -Pool area is nice, with outlook over the harbour towards the sea -Staff helpful and friendly (particularly the night time barman - Lef or Lev I think his name is), the owner gave us a bottle of local olive oil on our departure and was eager to please and resolve issues. Negatives: -Smoking allowed under the covered veranda where breakfast is taken (you can sit outside if weather allows) -No food is served after breakfast finishes at 10am until 5.30pm (could do with offering snacks as only other option is to go to restaurant next door or shops 10 min walk away) -Surrounding area a little tired and has seen better days

We have arrived home tonight from a lovely holiday at Kyparissia Beach hotel. The family run hotel you can tell is run with pride and courtesy and is meticulously clean. We had a room on the second floor overlooking the pool and marina .The air con was perfect the shower was very functional. The reception staff are so helpful. When we arrived we were given a very informative map of the region . You really do need carhire for Kyparissia unless you just want to vacation on the beach or by the pool which can get quite busy at certain times of the day. Reception will recommend a good local carhire Company for you along with recommendations for restaurants. Last night they made a fabulous reservation for us up in the old Town .They ordered us a cab and we spent an hour watching the sunset before our meal in the cafe tucked under the castle ruins sipping cocktails. Kyparissia is a seaside town with stunning mountains and lovely beach .It also has many possibilities to pass away a few hours on very unspoilt beauty spots where if you have beach shoes on you can bravely climb over the rocks to snorkel or swim in the clear blue sea. There is a modern square in the new part of town with many bars restaurants and on Friday they had a live group performing there late in the evening. The whole area has many sightseeing possibilities with a car .At the moment no escorted excursions are available. Kyparissia is not a typical commercial resort it has quite a few shops bars etc but not souvenir shops and arcades ..its quirky with an abandoned railway station made into a restaurant a small marina in which the hotel is situated on Only few mins walk from the modern square. Its definitely a unique little town and a great welcome will be waiting for you if you choose Kyparissia Beach Hotel. Small and friendly ..simple and sweet .

Just back from a weeks break with Jet2 staying at Kyparissia Beach Hotel. We arrived fairly late Sunday evening to a lovely welcome from hotel staff. We decided to eat at the hotel and was served by the lovely Lefteris, who went to the trouble of preparing our favourite cocktails that weren’t on the menu. He looked after us very well throughout the whole week, It was a very relaxing week, the hotel was really good, very clean, modern rooms, we had a view of the harbour. I read a previous review that said this is a working harbour and whist I would agree with that, we did see several rather lovely sailing yachts. The breakfast which was included was one of the best continental breakfasts in terms of variety. Fresh pastries, cold meats and cheeses, selection of cereals, yogurt and honey, toast and eggs, bacon/sausages, which were alternated each day. The pool area was immaculate and the pool very warm, there was plenty of seating around the pool. We ate a couple of evening meals at the hotel and again food was very good and reasonably priced. The beach was only an 8 min walk, one slight incline, but the beach had lots of amenities, sun loungers, which were free (if you bought a drink). The sea was lovely and clear, but lots of pebbles at the sea edge which made it a bit tricky coming out the sea, although younger people didn’t seem to have a problem. We walked up to the town on one occasions, and had a nice meal. There was a square with bars and outdoor seating, but our favourite spot was the old town. Because it’s quite hilly and was 33degs most days we took a taxi (5 euros) up to the castle in the old town. The castle was closed unfortunately, but next door we found a fab cafe with amazing views, a great drinks menu and it was much cooler up there. We spent a couple of afternoons exploring and went back in the evening for a meal at one of the restaurants which was great food. We have had a wonderful relaxing week, it was perfect for us, Kyparissia is not a touristy destination and most people holidaying seemed to be Greek which was lovely.

An amazing family hotel with staff that can't get enough out of their way to make you feel like home. Very clean with a nicely sized pool, that can get quite busy as the day goes by. Rooms are spacious and really clean, the breakfast is divine (it's traditional Greek so was expecting nothing less) and the town is only a short walk away. It's quite uphill though, so for those that can't walk a taxi ride is recommended. Stayed for 10 days and didn't want to leave!
