The SURF SHACK is located just blocks from the famous Windansea Beach. The sunny, yellow cottage with front patio beckons you and your family to come stay for awhile. Located on a quiet street with lots of free street parking makes this home a really great place to stay. The living room has lots of natural light and comfortable seating. With the open floor plan you can be making a meal in the kitchen whilst still chatting with friends or family in the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped with upscale Viking appliances and a breakfast bar. The dining room is separated by a grand piano and has a dining table that seats 6 comfortably, and a wall of books for your enjoyment. The primary bedroom features a King size bed, TV and ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. There are 2 guest bedrooms, 1 has a queen size bed and the other a twin. The two guest rooms share a bathroom that features a shower/tub combo. The back yard is very tranquil, green and sunny, a lovely place to relax after the beach with a nice glass of wine or cup of tea. Enjoy the barbeque and outdoor shower and the wonderful neighborhood that is Windansea. Walk to the beach, shops and restaurants, you will find you have La Jolla at your fingertips. PET CONSIDERED Pets may be allowed if the pet has been approved by Management and a nonrefundable Pet Fee has been paid. Fee will be added to reservation total before confirming. Pet Fee: $40/Night, $250/Wk or $300/Month (Per Pet). THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW: This is a NON-SMOKING home. This includes patios, decks and outside areas. The home is equipped with A/C. This home is located in a quiet neighborhood and is only suitable for quieter groups. Our rental agreement includes a no tolerance policy regarding excessive noise, occupancy and/or parties. Deposit forfeitures and/or evictions are strictly enforced. This home has a maximum occupancy of 5 people. You may not exceed that at any time and will be strictly enforced. Strictly no parties of any kind allowed at this property. For homes that allow pets there are certain rules that always apply. Pets are never to be left alone in the homes uncrated if they are prone to check, bark or are not house broken. If you plan on spending time away from your pets please find a doggy day care or crate your pet. Any damage caused by your pet is not covered under your damage insurance. You can call our office for recommendations or check the Welcome Book. Pet Fee: $40/Night - for longer stays, please inquire about flat rates. A little about the area of Windansea (La Jolla): Windansea Beach, where the sand is soft, the water is stunning and the surfers abound. There's a good reason the locals frequent often and why so many San Diego wedding parties come to have their photographs taken here; its picturesque landscape creates the perfect setting. Dogs are allowed here after 6 pm. During fall and winter time, they can come earlier starting at 4 pm. Windansea Beach is great for surfing and other water activities. Its serenity and beauty has made it a popular spot for wedding photos in San Diego, San Diego engagement photos and so on. There are benches placed above the water, along the land, for those who'd like to simply sit and gaze out at the sea. You'll often see people reading a book or just relaxing, staring out into the surf.
