The staff is superb and maintain the environment properly. Just the room furniture is so so but justify the price.

Great place to stay, large room apartment and kitchen, very comfortable bed the place is ideally for group of friends and sport teams. Excellent food, every day is different kind, on top of that you get those friendly employees especially the bar staff Paula Gaspar both so helpful, couldn’t do enough for us. I recommend this Hotel without any doubt.

Very good hotel situated in a great place to explore the lovely town of Albir The hotel is very clean and the food was of a good quality, we stopped on a bed and breakfast basis. Situated close to all amenities and restaurants and a bus stop and taxi rank outside

We absolutely love Albir Gardens! I went as a kid myself back in the early 2000s and remembered the resort and the joy of making friends with various families. So I decided to take my husband and child here, along with bringing my parents and it didn’t disappoint even with wet weather! The food was great and lots of choice, the care of staff was very clear to see brilliant with my little girl and with my dad having dementia when they caught him wandering one night the entertainment staff took him safely back to his room and we couldn’t be more grateful! The entertainment staff were amazing with the kids and we had a wet week so they put on plenty of entertainment for the families and my little girl loved Manel he was so kind - her first crush! The evening entertainment was wonderful - especially the Disney evening! The pool was a bit cold in the weather and the waterpark was great for chilling and having fun. Would highly recommend and close for a walk to the beach and to the next town of Altea. We are looking to go for a third time with our little one this year and cannot wait to see the lovely chaps for a dance and sing along again!

We booked this last min without expectations. We arrived late because storm Darragh caused issues!!! We made it in one piece thankfully. We were greeted with water but the kitchen was closed but it was late and they had some snacks for the all inclusive guests. Our apartment was small but very clean and very nice. The beds aren’t the most comfy but adequate, the tv worked and the shower was basic but nice. They have amazing food here I cannot fault it. Something for everyone. Although by the outdoor pools are shut now because it’s off season they have a nice small heated pool and hot tub and sauna. You have to wear a swim cap tho. They’re 4 euros each or the shop over the road sells them. They also have a gym which is basic but great. Our toilet wasn’t working and they sent a plumber immediately. The other guests were noisy but that’s because there were things going on in the area. The staff were great but Manel was excellent. He was very engaging and planned quiz nights and Bingo as well as other entertainment. The magician was the highlight. I was in stitches. Also pablo bloom was very good. I would highly recommend this place. The public transport is cheap and reliable and the taxis all speak English and are very reasonable. Altea old town is a must if you’re visiting. Lots of old cobble streets and beautiful buildings. It’s my last night tonight and I’m going to a Cuba bar for salsa dancing. Great way to top off the holiday. Thanks Albir Garden resort my son loved it especially the pool tables and the racing game. We said we’ll definitely be back. Muchas gracias ❤️

Dated and very basic apartment. The furniture was uncomfortable and the apartment was not that clean. We were allocated a terrible room. Directly situated above the entertainment area which was extremely loud until midnight making it difficult to sleep. The balcony was directly over the bin area and service gate which turned out to be where the staff met for their breaks and to smoke. This meant we were unable to sit out as their smoke found it’s was directly above and as non smokers we found this disgusting. Deliveries arrived throughout the day and into the evening very noisy. We ate in the restaurant a couple of nights but were not excited or satisfied by the food. We did not use any other facilities during our brief stay. If we had been staying longer I would have asked to be moved.
Response from Property: Dear djoyce681, We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We are sorry we did not meet your expectations, we would like to inform you that our reception is open 24 hours and that you can request a room change if you need it and they will explain the entire procedure to you there. We hope you can give us another chance. Kind regards.

The hotel itself is fine. Staff were friendly and the pool party is fantastic! Food was standard all inclusive but this was expected and there was never a day we could not find something to eat. The water park is also great, however alongside these positives, I have many negatives. We paid to upgrade to a premium room and it was far from premium. We were on holiday with family who had a standard room which was not only had a better view but also had more space! Yes our room had been decorated in a "modern" way but other than this, there was nothing premium about our room. To keep this short, I have listed a bullet point for each complaint I had made. 1. Promised champagne on arrival, this took 5 days for us to receive. I cannot say this is the hotels fault but between them and the agent I used to book it, the promise was broken. 2. The toilet literally lifted off the floor meaning our bathroom constantly smelt of drains. 3. Toilet roll holder hanging off the wall. 4. Towel hook also hanging off the wall. 5. Shower drain had a nail sticking out of it. 6. Rubbish was left behind by the maids on 2 occasions. 7. We had an issue in the bathroom which they sent a handy man to fix. Our shower was left in a mess and we were needing to use it to go for dinner. 8. Cheap crap dirty chairs provided on our balcony, in comparison to some balconies which had new grey deck chairs. 9. Bird poo often left on our balcony for 2 days, after maids had been in and cleaned our room. Was only cleaned when I complained to reception. So although I would personally not stay at this hotel again, this is due to my experience in the upgraded room. Save your money and stick to a standard room. Most rooms seemed to have had a garden view at the least. Please also note that these negatives are based on what is supposed to be a PREMIUM ROOM.

Really good entertainment with Manel, we had a great night!!! Super friendly showed us a video of his music which he was a really good singer and dancer. Couldn’t have asked for better entertainment. He found a way to bring everyone’s night to life.

As per previous reviews this resort is ‘bike & sports’. It should be advertised as such. Luckily, we got such a good deal having made a spontaneous decision to book for one week, it hasn’t been much of an issue but those wanting to book their full 2 week summer vacation here, I would think carefully. A suggestion to the hotel management would be to locate the sporting guests, most of whom are young teenagers to one area of the resort & other guests in another so they do not disturb everyone else. At their ages they are not mindful of other guests & those in charge of them should make them so! They can be noisy and inconsiderate when other guests are trying to rest. As the week has progressed, there are more & more groups appearing. The resort itself is ideally located for a walk around Albir & we walked along the promenade in an hour or so to Altea today. It’s a 10 min taxi ride to Benidorm for around €12. The apartments are basic as you’d expect, compact, clean & comfortable & the shower is powerful enough with plenty of hot water. We paid about €22 for all you can eat buffet breakfast at the hotel (for 2) on the first morning (we are self catering) but down the road a breakfast is around €6. We ate out the rest of the time & there are plenty of places to eat/drink. As mentioned, this was a last minute decision to book & for the price we can’t complain. We’ve had a nice break, but wouldn’t choose this hotel/area for our main holiday. For those who would, I’d definitely consider staying somewhere more adult/family oriented.

We had a fabulous time. I went alone with two children and even though it wasn't hot enough to sun bath we had a wonderful time with special thanks to the super friendly animator called Nico who when out of his way to make sure the children had an amazing stay. Thank you Nico and Albir Garden Hotel for make it a super relaxing break.

Family of four with 2 young teens, stayed at Albir Garden on 20/8/24. Coach transfer about 90 minutes depending on stops, but mainly in Benidorm. Whilst the exterior on arrival was underwhelming the reception area is fresh, clean and welcoming. Having arrived just before midday after checking in went to the restaurant as rooms wouldn’t be ready until about 3, therefore worth packing your swimmers if you turn up early! The hotel has a main building and lots of small couple storey apartment blocks all over there resort. We stayed in the main building and apart from the restaurant preparing breakfast below we were not disturbed by any other noises. The staff were very helpful and could see the “site team” constantly clearing the grounds, emptying bins, cutting grass, moving deckchairs to ensure everyone had a tidy space to use at all times. The room was basic and could do with a revamp, but had a good size shower albeit pressure was poor, kitchenette and lounge area with dining table and the main bedroom with 2 decent sized beds, we of course also then used the pull out sofa, only down side was that air con only in the lounge and not the bedroom, our balcony view was of the shops opposite but still had space to relax if needed and an area to dry out towels/clothes. The swimming area is made up of three pools, infant pool which is about foot deep and had a small slide, ideal for those who can’t swim but want to splash around, this was also next to the small toilet block. The next pool was approx 1 metre deep all around so most people could stand up happily to play the variety of events throughout the day- aqua dance, volleyball, handball etc. also great for the little ones who can or are learning to swim- this pool did get very busy at times. The main pool starts at 1.56 metres but after a few steps quickly deepens in fact there were about 3-4 spot where I could stand otherwise you are permanently swimming/floating as at its deepest it is 2.7 metres. This meant a lot of people using floats to bob along as with the amount of people you were never going to do lengths of the pool, I managed this early in the morning then joined the float club rest of the day. There was at least 1 if not 2 lifeguards on duty at all times and here is the clincher- the pool is open until midnight when the entertainment finishes and the lifeguards are still on duty until then. The pool is served by 2 outlets, 1 is a traditional bar with all the spirits etc, but also has the slushy machine and the ice creams, a self serve cold water machine was also located here, the other outlet served just beer/sangria and the coke/fanta/sprite machine, here though was the main outside food which had watermelon, pastries, chips, burgers, hotdogs, pizza, waffles and toasties you could even take away a full pizza not just a slice. The sun beds are solid so no sitting position and not too comfortable (buy a cover mat at a local shop for about 7 euros) but there were beds stacked all day, I.

This hotel is a sports campus with training facilities. It is definitely not a family friendly hotel as advertised. No holiday atmosphere whatsoever no music no attempt to make it a holiday vibe. Best located rooms given to athletes, holiday makers are sent to rooms at the back of the complex. The rooms are dark and dingy. Do not pay for premium rooms there are no such thing. There are cyclists riding on the complex around the outdoor pools that were freezing cold and signs up to say they are all closed. The indoor pool is booked out for the athletes for the majority of time holiday makers have a few hours a day such as 5pm to 9pm. Aquapark closed despite an earlier review in January saying it was open. Nothing to do so asked for ping pong bats and balls for the kids at 10.30am we were not allowed them until 11am so we went out and bought some. No ice cream for kids on all-inclusive or to buy. Last day went to breakfast and we were stopped saying we had already had breakfast. Lots of wild cats around the complex not surprised as they are being fed. Maybe different in the summer but we found that 'no' is the hotels favourite response to any request. I don't normally review however this holiday was the worse we have been on and I am now home and feel disappointed I have spent my money there instead of somewhere else.
Response from Property: Dear EmployementLaw, We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. First of all, we are sorry that we did not meet your expectations. Our hotel welcomes all types of clients, families or sports teams, if you visit our website you can confirm this. Our outdoor pools are open all year round, but in the winter season it is under the responsibility of the client. We would also like to inform you that the swimming pool opening hours are as follows because we give swimming lessons. We apologize but during the winter season we do not have ice creams in our cafeteria, but in the food services, in our restaurant, they are available. We are sorry that you did not have a good experience and we hope that you will give us another opportunity to visit us. Best regards.

Excellent hotel cannot fault it for the price we paid. Lovely food at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Lots of salad, fruit, nuts etc. The walnut cake was excellent. When the food was slightly cooler than I liked I put it in the microwave. Staff were helpful and friendly. Lovely walks to the beach ( 1. 5km) and Benidorm (6km).
