Situated within a busy area of La Paz this was the second hotel in this chain that we had stayed at. Quaint layout, with a courtyard at the back including seating. Our room was off this courtyard, but we didn't experience any noise at night. The room was a reasonable size with beautiful decoration of local wallhangings, if only we could have taken one home! There were 2 beds in the room but neither was that large, they were doubles rather than the kingsize we had become used to at other hotels. Bathroom nice, shower only but clean with nice fresh towels presented in a basket and plenty of hot water. TV/ wifi and safe in room but no tea or bottled water provided. The safe wouldn't close and was not fixed during our visit, so we couldn't use it. Heating was a small protable radiator, but left on all the time it was sufficient. Breakfast self service with good choice and eggs fried to order. Also ate in restaurant one evening, the meal was very good (lasagne) with a reasonable wine choice (25US$ per bottle). Reception was helpful and spoke good English, laundry service was offered and charged by weight. there was also a small lounge area off reception which provided free tea, coffee and water 24/7. Nice hotel with good staff.
