Hotel Canto del Mar

We stayed two nights at this hotel, on different days. The first night we had a small room with a sea view on the third floor (the hotel does not have an elevator). The hallways were a bit cold and they kept the windows and doors open, which made the sea breeze blow and increased the feeling of cold. The hotel is a bit old, however, everything was very clean. We asked for an extra blanket that was brought to the room. When I left I kept a jacket that they kept until the next day when we returned to the hotel (which is appreciated since it was my favorite). The hotel has a restaurant on the first floor that has very good dishes (we ordered crab soup, lasagna and everything was delicious). The second room, which we had with a sea view, was larger and had a larger bathroom. Breakfast was included and there were breads, cakes, donuts, coffee from a machine, fruits, juices, everything freely available. The staff at both the hotel and the restaurant got a 7! I am not giving it 5 points because there are aesthetic details that need to be improved in the infrastructure. Downstairs on the first floor there is a pharmacy, ice cream parlor, restaurant and ATM.

Very expensive for the quality. Without air conditioning, the room was boiling hot, we couldn't sleep because of the heat and we couldn't open the window because we could smell the food coming from the kitchen. On the other side of the wall there were some machines that were apparently out of order and a man was drilling them all day, regardless of the guests' rest hours.

Very expensive for the quality offered, there is no parking, the water in the bathroom is barely enough to bathe, the room has a broken glass, noise at night and in the morning. The breakfast is acceptable, but the room does not have air conditioning, the TV set is old. Very simple and very expensive room. They charged us more than 125,000 for one night.
