Location is good. 8 mins walk from La Spezia centrale station. Easy reach to many food outlets. Hotel staff very helpful, friendly.

The hotel has a sense of design, the breakfast is okay, and there are many choices of cold cuts and drinks.
If you have a lot of luggage, traveling to and from the train station can be a bit difficult. The surrounding environment is average.

There is one parking lot inside the hotel and another 5 minutes drive next to the hotel. I couldn't find it in the end. After working for more than an hour, I decided to park on the side of the road. I have to pay a fee every two hours. I will arrive at 8pm. It's free at 8 a.m. Small SUVs are very unfriendly, or you have very good driving skills. I live in the United States and am used to large parking spaces, so I am a little anxious about parking in Italy. The two key cards didn't work well. After I went up with my luggage, I came back down to change the keys. The room is on the inside, very quiet, and the breakfast is rich. The hotel has a bit of a sense of design. It takes five or six minutes to walk to the train station.

I did not find the hotel up to 4 stars. Despite having booked a superior room, I did not find slippers in the bathroom but neither did toilet paper. The room also lacks the typical kettle and tea corner which would certainly have been even more appreciable in winter. It is also unfortunate to have to re-ignite the lamps that have an automatic shutdown, probably for energy saving, about every quarter of an hour, just as I have not found an effective air exchange system in the bathroom. For the rest, the location is excellent, in proximity to both the historic center and the train station, and the extremely kind staff. Average breakfast, appreciable the possibility of using it until 11:00 without time slots.
