While the hotel staff were consistently polite, warm, and welcoming, the overall experience was highly disappointing.
I cannot recommend this hotel.The room itself was entirely unremarkable, but the state of the bathroom was unacceptable. It was rusted from floor to ceiling. Rust actually flakes and drops into the sink from the roof.
Furthermore, the entire bathroom emitted a strong, foul odor.The shower curtain is a major health hazard and needs to be replaced or thoroughly washed. It reeks of urine and has visible, highly concerning stains on it. Because the curtain hangs directly against the toilet seat, it is impossible to use the toilet without the contaminated fabric resting against your body.
Additionally, the bathroom trash bin is heavily rusted and needs to be replaced. I was highly displeased and did not enjoy my stay.
Finally, there was a frustrating incident with room service. I ordered dinner and paid the staff member via bank transfer. He verified and confirmed the transfer on his end before leaving. However, two minutes later, he called my room to claim the funds had not arrived. This was embarrassing and unprofessional. I was staying overnight; I had no way or intention to flee. To make matters worse, once the funds finally cleared, management never called back to acknowledge receipt or apologize.The staff are kind, but excellent service cannot compensate for unsanitary living conditions and poor financial communication. I will not be returning.
