Quite an expensive stay but given it’s Tekapo so understandable. There’s a Chinese butler onsite. Need to notice there are 4 units under the same house so your experience depends on your neighbors. Location is good just 5 mins walk from the church.

The fist night in southisland, this house gave us a big surprise.We has a great time in this nice and clean house with a nice friendly housekeeper Johnathan. The house is located by the lake, five minutes away from the Church. Johnathan gave us a big help for our dinner in the house.You can easily cook in the kitchen. You can see the Milky Way in the yard, and it is very convenient to watch the stars at night in the house garden. Really quiet at night,the house gave us a sweet dream with a soft bed. Highly recommended! ! ! 设施：很有老味道的房子 卫生：非常干净 环境：很舒服，整洁 服务：管家友好，竭尽所能给我们帮助，对我们提出的需求都尽可能响应

Worst value for money! A complete ripoff! The “villa” is very old with ugly, cheap, unmatching furniture pieced together. There’s also lack of privacy as the house is subletting into 3 sections with only glass door to separate the guests, some don’t have curtains. We paid NZ Dollar 500/ night and there was nobody at site and no service.  The only good thing is the location, it’s purely lakefront. However, please don’t waste your money for that. I would recommend staying at the nearby towns as this is overrated.

The oldest hotel at Tekapo and very close to Shepherds Church. Don't worry about the hotel is sharply, it's classic rather. I like it. England classic style. Overall I have a memorable stay here.

We saw a very beautiful starry sky that day. The church is within walking distance of the Church of the Good Shepherd. The house is excellent; although it's an old building, it's very well preserved.
